Medina County, TX Flower Delivery

Substituted Stems, the Same Hondo Order

Flower types get substituted for what a florist has that morning, and nothing about the arrangement changes with them. The size holds, the shape holds, and so does the value a Hondo sender agreed to when the order went in.

In the middle of a South Texas summer the market thins out, so a request built around a color survives better than a request built around one named bloom. A Medina County order asking for white and green can be filled in any week; an order asking for a single variety sometimes cannot.

That is the reason the substitution rule is written down rather than left to chance. A florist filling a Medina list in July has fewer stems to pick from than the same florist has in April, and the piece still has to look like the one on the screen.

Once the arrangement is finished, a photo of it goes to the sender at no extra charge. For an address on the Hondo side of the county that picture is usually the first confirmation anybody gets that the piece was actually set down.

A Birthday Order for Devine

Birthdays and new baby gifts both want somebody who will reliably be at the address. A weekday delivery to a house at Devine can miss, where a workplace or a school office almost never does.

The full catalog sorts by occasion first and by flower second, which cuts the list down fast for a small kitchen at Natalia. A thank you piece and an anniversary piece are different objects, and the room decides which one fits.

The town of Medina, TX keeps its own separate page, and it is not the county this one covers. Anyone sending to that town rather than to the county should start there instead.

Hospital and Nursing Home Addresses

Medina Regional Hospital and Community Care Center of Hondo both take flowers at a front counter rather than at the bed. The resident's full name carries a piece past that counter; a room number alone often does not, since rooms change more often than names do.

Devine Health and Rehabilitation and Medina Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center work the same way at the other end of the county. Hondo Funeral Home handles services at the seat, where a spray wants to arrive well ahead of the family.

Order before 1 PM Central time for same-day flower delivery to any of the five ZIP codes here, 78861 at the seat and 78009 at Castroville among them. A sender on the east coast runs an hour ahead of the seat, so their own version of that line is two in the afternoon.

Same Day Orders at Castroville

Flower delivery runs Monday through Saturday across all five Medina towns, and Sunday delivery is not available. A Sunday service at Castroville therefore has to be met on the Saturday, which is worth knowing on the Thursday rather than the Sunday morning.

Deliveries land between 9 AM and 7 PM, and 1,325 square miles is enough ground that an address at the western end often falls late in that window. A particular hour can be requested on a Hondo order, though it cannot be promised.

Six counties border this one. Bexar County, TX sits immediately east, while Uvalde County, TX takes over to the west. The rest of the state is indexed on the Texas county page.
