Flowers Across Hardin County, TX

Anniversary Orders Out of Silsbee

Six towns sit under Hardin County, and most of what leaves for them marks something ordinary: an anniversary at Silsbee, a new baby at Lumberton, a thank you sent to a house in Sour Lake. Those orders go to doors rather than desks, so a contact name is worth more than any note about the driveway.

The town of Hardin, TX keeps a separate page of its own and is not the county covered here, which is worth knowing before an order goes against the wrong one of the two. Six towns and five ZIP codes is a short list, so the town on an order is read before the street is.

Flower delivery runs Monday through Saturday across all six Hardin County towns, Sunday delivery is not available, and the window on any working day is between 9 AM and 7 PM.

Sympathy Flowers at Sour Lake

A standing spray is cut for a chapel floor and a room arrangement for a bedside shelf, and Paradigm at Kountze takes the second kind most weeks. Anything tall on a ward tray gets moved well before the family arrives to see it. Village Creek Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Lumberton is the third address of that kind, and it works the same way.

A Sunday service at Silsbee has to be met by the Saturday arrival before it, so a 77656 order is really a Friday decision. Silsbee Oaks Health Care and Altus Lumberton Hospital are the two addresses where a room number matters a great deal more than the street does.

Seasonal Stems and a Lumberton Swap

East Texas weeks do not all supply the same flowers, so a florist filling a Lumberton order swaps a stem that is not available for the nearest equivalent she can get. The type of arrangement a 77657 sender bought stays exactly that, and so do its size, its shape and its value.

Once the arrangement is finished, a photo of it goes back to whoever paid, at no extra charge, which for a Wildwood address ordered from out of state is the only look anybody gets at the thing.

Pinewood Estates and Wildwood are the two addresses on this page most often mistaken for one another, and they are not close together. A florist filling either reads the ZIP before the street, which is why 77663 and 77625 belong on the order at the point it is placed.

The 1 PM Hour for Kountze

Order before 1 PM Central time for same-day flower delivery to Kountze, Silsbee, Lumberton or Sour Lake, and past that hour the order takes the next working day instead. Hardin County is 891 square miles of pine country, and a late order out toward Wildwood is the one most likely to slip a day.

Kountze is the seat, but Lumberton and Silsbee carry more of the orders between them, and all three run on the one clock. Browse the catalog of arrangements to settle the shape, then open the town: Kountze, Silsbee, Lumberton and Sour Lake each keep a page beneath this one. The Texas county index holds the rest of the state, Jefferson County, TX lies to the south, and Tyler County, TX takes over to the north.
