Flower Delivery Across Dallas County, TX

Twenty-five towns and 2,656,028 people sit under this page, which makes Dallas County the largest thing this index collects. It covers 873 square miles and 166 ZIP codes, from 75201 in the center out to 75253 on the far south east edge, which is the widest postal spread on any page in Texas. The city of Dallas, TX keeps a separate page of its own, and a sender who wants a suburb rather than the city center should start from the town page instead of this one.

Substituted Stems, Same Size and Value

Flower types may be substituted for what a florist covering a given Dallas County ZIP code has on hand that morning. The size, the shape and the value of the arrangement ordered are what hold, and across 166 ZIP codes that rule is the only thing that makes an order predictable.

Once the arrangement is finished, a photo of it goes to the sender at no extra charge. On a page this size it is also the quickest way to see that a piece bound for Irving looked the way it was meant to.

A Birthday Order for Cedar Hill

Birthdays, a new baby and a thank you to a colleague make up most of what leaves this page. A house in Cedar Hill takes height happily, while an office in Richardson wants something that fits beside a monitor, and the catalog sorts by occasion before it sorts by flower.

For an apartment block, a floor and a unit number written at checkout does more than any instruction in the message field. The same is true of a tower, where the lobby is as far as an order without a name gets.

Grand Prairie, Duncanville and Lancaster each keep a page of their own beneath this one, carrying the streets and the named places that belong to them. This page is the layer between those and the state, which is the job it exists to do.

Sympathy Flowers at Laurel Oaks Funeral Home

Laurel Oaks Funeral Home in Balch Springs is one of the named funeral homes on the Dallas County list, and a service there wants the flowers standing before the family arrives. A standing spray belongs at the chapel; the arrangement for the house should be small enough to keep for a week.

A Sunday service in this county has to be covered by a Saturday arrival, and that is the detail worth settling first. Flower delivery runs Monday through Saturday to every Dallas County address, Sunday delivery is not available, and arrivals fall between 9 AM and 7 PM. Baylor University Medical Center is one of the named hospitals on the Dallas County list, and flowers there go to a ward desk rather than to a room.

The 1 PM Line, Central Time

Order before 1 PM Central time for same-day flower delivery anywhere in this county. The hour is read where the flowers land rather than where the order is placed, so a sender on the west coast is working against a deadline in the middle of their own morning.

A particular hour can be asked for on a Garland or Mesquite address without being promised, which is the honest answer rather than the comfortable one. The Texas county index sits above this page, and Tarrant County, TX picks up immediately to the west.
