Flower Delivery Across Colorado County, TX

Four towns share the 960 square miles of Colorado County, and 21,475 people live among them. Columbus is the county seat, Eagle Lake sits out on the rice prairie, and Weimar and Glidden each keep a page of their own below this one. The county takes its name from the river rather than from the state that shares the word, and it is one of the older county lines in Texas.

Pick a Size for Weimar

A piece for a house in Weimar can be as tall as the sender likes. A piece for a resident at Parkview Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation has to sit on a nightstand beside a lamp and a water glass, which rules out most of what looks best in a photograph.

The catalog is sorted by occasion before flower, and that is the right order for a Colorado County sender who knows the person and not the stems. Scent is the second question, because a strong arrangement in a small room stops being a gift by the third day.

Columbus Oaks Healthcare Community and Trucare Living Centers-Columbus both sit in the county seat, and an order for either goes through a desk rather than to a room door. A resident's full name at checkout does the work a room number cannot, since rooms change and names do not.

An Anniversary at Eagle Lake

Anniversaries, birthdays and a thank you to a neighbor account for most of what this page sends. Rice Medical Center at Eagle Lake and Columbus Community Hospital are the two named hospitals here, and get well flowers for either go through the desk rather than straight to the bed.

None of those occasions needs an exact hour, which is worth saying plainly: a particular time can be asked for on a Colorado County stop and cannot be promised, and an order that does not need one is an easier order. A thank you sent to a workplace at Eagle Lake, TX behaves in exactly the same way as one sent to a house.

The 1 PM Hour at Columbus

Order before 1 PM Central time for same-day flower delivery to any of the four Colorado County towns. The hour is read in the recipient's zone, so a sender two zones west has less of the morning left than the clock in front of them suggests.

Flower delivery runs Monday through Saturday here, Sunday delivery is not available, and the window on a working day is between 9 AM and 7 PM. A Sunday service at Columbus therefore has to be covered by a Saturday arrival, and families planning one should count backward from that.

Farm Addresses and Four ZIP Codes

The county's four ZIP codes run from 77434 to 78962, and outside the towns a good share of addresses are farm roads rather than streets. A contact number left at checkout does more for a Colorado County order than any note about a gate or a cattle guard.

Flower types may be substituted for what is available that morning, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement, and once it is finished a photo of it goes to the sender at no extra charge. The Texas county index covers the rest of the state, Fayette County, TX lies away to the north west, and Wharton County, TX picks up to the south east.
