Rhea County, TN Flower Delivery

A Funeral Spray for Graysville

A spray cut to church scale wants floor space and two people to move it, so a Graysville service is the right address rather than the house. A room at Graysville fills faster than the family expects.

The Dayton house that people go back to afterward takes something low enough to see over, which is a different order and often a different address on the same day.

Rhea Medical Center takes flowers at its own reception, and Laurelbrook Nursing Home works the same way. The resident name written in full is what carries an arrangement past either Dayton desk.

An Address at Spring City

An apartment at 37381 wants its unit number spelled out, because a building name on its own leaves a piece at a door nobody opens. A Spring City workplace wants the employer name beside the recipient.

Life Care Center of Rhea County and Spring City Care and Rehabilitation Center sit at opposite ends of the valley, and an order that names only the town can reach the wrong one of the two.

About 34,759 people live along this valley, and the two ends of it are further apart by road than the map suggests.

Order before 1 PM Eastern time for same-day flower delivery to any of the three Rhea County ZIP codes, 37321 at Dayton included. A sender three hours west of Dayton is working to a mid morning deadline at home.

Flower delivery runs Monday through Saturday across all three Rhea County towns, Sunday delivery is not available at Graysville or anywhere else here, and arrivals fall between 9 AM and 7 PM.

An Anniversary Order for Dayton

Anniversary and birthday orders want an address where somebody is in, which on a weekday in this valley is more often an employer than a house at 37338.

The full catalog sorts by occasion before it sorts by stem, and that shortens the list quickly for a Dayton desk or a kitchen table at Spring City.

Width is the question after occasion. A tray at Rhea Medical Center takes less than a table does, and one line saying where the arrangement will stand is worth more than a longer note about color.

Christmas and Mother's Day move the Dayton line earlier than 1 PM, so an order for either is better placed on the day before.

A Sunday service in this valley has to be met by a Saturday arrival, and along a strip 315 square miles long that means the Friday order is the safe one.

Seasonal Stems and the Same Value

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist nearest the recipient holds that week, with no change to the size, the shape or the value of a piece sent to a Rhea County address.

The swap is narrow rather than dramatic. One variety stands in for another of similar weight and color, and the outline of the arrangement stays as ordered whether it lands at Dayton or up the valley.

Once the arrangement is finished, a photo of it goes to the buyer at no extra charge, which is the only sight a sender outside Tennessee gets of what reached a Graysville door.

The rest of Tennessee, Rhea County included, is listed at the Tennessee county index. Roane County, TN begins north of Rhea County, TN, and Hamilton County, TN takes over to the south.
