Grundy County, TN Flower Delivery

A Thank You Sent to Altamont

A thank you is the order people leave latest and regret most, which is why the hour is worth knowing before anything is chosen. An order for Altamont placed at two in the afternoon is tomorrow's order rather than today's.

This is 360 square miles of plateau with seven towns on it, and no single one of them holds a majority of the addresses. An order placed on a Saturday afternoon becomes a Monday order rather than a Sunday one, which is worth knowing before a weekend service.

Orders placed before 1 PM Central time reach a Grundy County address the same business day, flower delivery runs Monday through Saturday, Sunday delivery is not available in 37301 or 37387, and arrivals fall between 9 AM and 7 PM.

Sympathy Flowers for Tracy City

There is no large hospital and no funeral home on our own record inside these seven towns, so a sympathy order for Tracy City or Coalmont needs the name and street of the chapel written on the order itself. That single line does more than anything else to get the flowers to the right room.

A resident name and a street do the work that a named institution would do elsewhere, and in Grundy County that is worth writing out in full rather than abbreviating.

A Sunday service at Tracy City has to be met on the Saturday before it, and the Saturday carries the same afternoon line as a weekday. Something for the family's house afterwards is a separate order and usually a smaller one.

Choose a Size for Palmer

Choose the size against the room. A tall vase is right on a hall table at Palmer and wrong on a narrow sill at Pelham, and the difference is not one the florist can guess.

Color is the decision the season touches most, so an order for one named stem in January may well arrive in a different shade of the same color.

The catalog is listed by size and by occasion. Flower types may be substituted for what is available that week, with no change to the size, the shape or the value of the arrangement, and once the arrangement is finished a photo of it is sent at no extra charge to whoever paid for the Grundy County order.

Seven Towns and 360 Square Miles

Seven towns and seven ZIP codes cover the plateau, and 14,148 people live among them. The codes run 37301, 37305, 37313, 37339, 37365, 37366 and 37387, and Beersheba Springs at one end is a long way from Gruetli-Laager at the other.

Flower delivery to Altamont and to Tracy City is the same service with a stretch of road between them. A Grundy County address is worked to the same line whether it sits at 37339 or at 37366.

That distance is why a particular hour can be asked for at checkout and never promised in return. Coalmont and Palmer sit between the two ends, and neither changes the terms on the order.

The Tennessee county index carries every other page in Tennessee, Coffee County, TN lies north west of Altamont, and Marion County, TN begins south of Tracy City.
