Dewey County, SD Flower Delivery

Order Before 1 PM Mountain Time

Dewey County sits on Mountain time, and a same-day order has to be placed before 1 PM Mountain time on the recipient's clock. Anyone who assumes the hour most of South Dakota keeps loses the day by a full sixty minutes.

Flower delivery runs Monday through Saturday to Timber Lake and Eagle Butte, Sunday delivery is not available, and arrivals fall between 9 AM and 7 PM. A preferred hour can be noted on the order and cannot be promised by anyone.

Two ZIP codes cover the whole county, 57625 and 57656, which is as short a list as any page on this site carries. Each of the towns beneath this one names its own.

Hospital And Home Addresses

Eagle Butte Indian Health Service Hospital takes flowers at a desk rather than at a bedside, so a room number on the second address line does more than the street ever will. A compact piece also moves through a ward more easily.

Medicine Wheel Village is a care address of the other kind. A resident's room takes a low arrangement on a side table, and anything tall gets moved somewhere else not long after it arrives.

A house address out here is a different problem again. Across 2,302 square miles a mailbox number or a road name is worth more than a postal address on its own, and somebody being home is worth more than both.

A Dewey County, SD delivery is rarely a matter of minutes, which is exactly why the order wants every line of the address filled in before it is placed.

Sympathy Flowers In Timber Lake

A standing piece belongs at the building holding the service and the family arrangement belongs at the house, and in a county this size those two addresses are often an hour apart from each other.

Dewey County keeps Mountain time while the funeral notice may well have been written on Central, so checking the hour twice is worth the trouble. A service starting at ten in the morning is a previous-day order.

Substitution covers the weeks when a particular stem is unavailable, and the size, the shape and the value of a Timber Lake order all hold through it. A photo of the finished piece follows at no additional charge.

A Birthday In Eagle Butte

Birthdays, anniversaries and new baby orders mostly go to houses in Eagle Butte and North Eagle Butte rather than to wards, and a weekday afternoon is the hardest time to find anyone at the door.

The catalog is grouped by occasion, so the shape falls out of the reason for sending. That matters more here than anywhere, because Dewey County has no second street of florists to try.

No bordering county page touches this one, which is unusual: the pages next door are simply not ones we build. The rest of the state is gathered on the South Dakota county list instead.

Flowers delivered to a Timber Lake, SD address come from a florist working the same side of the river, which is the only reason a same-day order is possible this far out.
