Flowers Across Providence County, RI

Birthdays and Thank Yous at Cranston

Thirteen towns sit under this page, and a birthday order for Cranston is not the same job as one for Woonsocket at the northern edge. Flower delivery here is arranged by hand by a florist working near the recipient, so what fits the room matters more than what photographed well in a catalog.

A thank you piece for a desk at Pawtucket works better low and wide than tall, because it has to share the surface with a keyboard. Congratulations on a new baby go the other way: light enough that a parent can carry it out with one hand, and no scent strong enough to fill a small room.

The 1 PM Line for Pawtucket

Order before 1 PM Eastern time and the piece can reach a Providence County address the same working day. The 32 ZIP codes on this page run from 02814 up to 02940, and not one of them shifts that hour by a minute.

Flower delivery runs Monday through Saturday across all thirteen Providence County towns, Sunday delivery is not available, and the window on any working day is between 9 AM and 7 PM. In the four peak holiday weeks the same-day hour can fall earlier, so a Rhode Island address is worth ordering for a day ahead.

A sender on the west coast is working three hours behind the recipient, which is the detail that costs more same-day orders than any other. The clock that decides a Woonsocket delivery is the one in Woonsocket, and a 02940 box on the other side of the county keeps exactly the same hour.

Sympathy Flowers and Nardolillo Funeral Home

Sympathy orders are timed to a service rather than to a date. For Nardolillo Funeral Home at Cranston, the family name and the hour of the service both belong in the delivery notes, because a large home may be looking after more than one family that afternoon.

Standing sprays belong where the service is held. A vase piece suits a home address at Central Falls or Valley Falls better, since nobody should have to hunt for a stand. Harris Health Care Center North and the other care addresses across RI take deliveries at a front desk rather than at a room door.

Choose a Size for Small Rooms

Room size decides more than color does. A tall arrangement in a small apartment at Pascoag gets moved twice on the first evening; a low bowl stays where it is put. The catalog shows every design at the size it is ordered in, which is the fastest way to judge scale against a hallway table.

Flower types get substituted for what the florist can actually buy that morning, and the type of arrangement holds: a tall vase ordered for Harmony stays a tall vase in size, shape and value. A photo of the finished arrangement is sent once it is made, at no extra charge, so a Providence County sender sees the substitution rather than hearing about it later.

The city of Providence, RI keeps a separate page of its own, and this one collects the county around it. Write the town on the address line as well as the ZIP, since RI codes here all begin 028 or 029 and are easy to transpose. Windham County, CT sits to the west, while Bristol County, MA lies off the southeast corner. Beyond these 32 ZIP codes, the Rhode Island flower delivery index lists the rest of the state.
