Astoria, OR Flower Delivery, Same Day by Hand

Warrenton, Svensen and the Astoria ZIP

Warrenton, OR and Svensen, OR are the nearest neighbors with delivery pages, and Knappa, OR is close as well. Gearhart, OR and Seaside, OR are also on the list, along with Cannon Beach, OR, so a sender with a half-remembered address has many names to choose among.

ZIP 97103 settles it for Astoria. A recipient whose mail says another town needs an order for that town, because a florist builds for the town the order names, and a florist in Astoria or nearby hand-delivers only within this area.

The town is the seat of Clatsop County, OR, and Clatsop County, OR shows how the area fits together. Columbia County, OR and Tillamook County, OR border it, and Wahkiakum County, WA covers the Washington side for senders whose recipient is there.

Flower delivery in Astoria, OR reaches addresses in the town itself, and Astoria flower delivery for a neighboring town needs its own order. A recipient who gives only the county can be placed with the county page.

Same day flower delivery in Astoria follows the same rule for all of these addresses: the order must be placed before 1 PM Pacific time, and an order placed later goes out on the next delivery day.

Astoria, Illinois, is not the order you want

A town with this name also exists in Illinois, and flowers ordered by name alone can be pointed at the wrong state. The order summary should read Astoria, OR, with Oregon in full and ZIP 97103.

Of everything on the order, the two state letters carry the most weight. A florist near the right address hand-delivers the flowers, but a wrong-state order cannot be corrected afterward.

When in doubt, ask the recipient to read the ZIP from a recent letter. A search for Astoria OR sometimes surfaces the other state first, and the order form is the safer place to start.

To send flowers to Astoria from another part of the country, check the cutoff against Pacific time rather than a local clock. Deliveries run Monday through Saturday between 9 AM and 7 PM, and Sunday delivery is not available.

A sender who prefers to confirm a ZIP before ordering can look at a recent envelope or ask a relative to read it aloud. Of all the details on an order, the ZIP and the state letters are the quickest to check and the hardest to undo.

Flowers for Columbia Memorial Hospital or Clatsop Care Center

Columbia Memorial Hospital is on the facility list for the town. For a patient, the order needs the patient's full name and the department, and some units limit what deliveries may bring in, so a small arrangement is the safer choice.

Clatsop Care Center is a care address as well. For a resident, the full name and the facility name come first, with visiting hours in the notes for whoever receives the flowers.

Caldwell's Luce-Layton Mortuary and Hughes-Ransom Mortuary are the mortuaries on the list. Funeral flowers in Astoria go to the family or to the mortuary handling the service, with the family name and the service hour on the order.

Clatsop Community College is in town too, and flowers for someone there need a building and a department. The town counted 10,186 people in 2020 on 6.138 square miles, so houses, apartments and campus addresses all appear in orders.

A florist in Astoria hand-delivers to the address named, so a care home, a dormitory and a house each need their own details. A line about the entrance usually prevents a second trip.

Mortuary orders have their own rhythm. A service on a Monday leaves Saturday as the last delivery day before it, so funeral flowers for it should be ordered by Saturday morning, before 1 PM Pacific time, and addressed to the mortuary with the family name and the service hour.

A birthday on the one day no florist delivers

Sunday delivery is not available, and deliveries run Monday through Saturday, so an Astoria birthday that falls on a Sunday needs its flowers on Saturday. Order flowers on Friday or earlier, before 1 PM Pacific time, for the best margin.

Birthday cards work best short and warm. A request for an afternoon arrival can go in the notes, though no hour can be promised.

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, but the size, shape and value of the arrangement stay the same. A photo of the finished piece goes to the sender at no extra charge.

Sizes are shown in the arrangement designs. Flowers delivered for a birthday party should go to wherever the party is held, with the hour in the notes. The Oregon delivery page covers other towns, and anyone typing flower shop in Astoria into a search bar will find an order form here.

Anyone ordering a birthday bouquet for an office should add the business name and a person who accepts deliveries, and avoid a Saturday order for a business that closes on weekends.
