Send Flowers Into Columbia County, OR

Orders Timed to the 1 PM Hour

An order placed before 1 PM Pacific time reaches a Columbia County, OR address on the same business day, and the seven ZIP codes here run from 97051 at the seat out to 97016 at the western end.

Flower delivery runs Monday through Saturday for all seven Columbia County towns, Sunday delivery is not available, and arrivals fall between 9 AM and 7 PM.

A sender in the eastern zone is three hours ahead of the recipient, so the hour that feels like mid afternoon at one desk is a hard deadline at the other.

Seven ZIP codes cover 659 square miles here, and the gap between 97016 in the west and 97056 in the south east is most of an hour on the road.

A Birthday Sent to Vernonia

A birthday order for Vernonia or Clatskanie is a longer drive than the map suggests, since the two sit at opposite ends of a 659 square mile county.

Anniversary and congratulations orders do better at a workplace on a weekday, and a get well piece bound for a care home needs the resident name as the staff there has it.

Avalon Care Center - Scappoose takes flowers at the front desk in that way, and a room number turns the right building into the right door.

Birthday orders into 97018 and 97048 do better at a workplace as well, since a house at the river end of these seven towns can stand empty from early morning. Warren sits close enough to the seat that the ZIP usually settles it.

River Road Addresses and ZIP 97051

A house number on a long rural road is easier to find with a mailbox number and a cross street, and the ZIP tells a florist which of the seven town pages under Columbia County was meant.

The seat at St. Helens shares 97051 with a good deal of the ground around it, while Scappoose sits at 97056 and Columbia City keeps a page of its own.

Flower delivery in this corner of Oregon reaches those addresses without much trouble, but an apartment number left off the line is still the most common reason a piece has to be attempted twice.

Clatskanie, Warren and Rainier all keep town pages of their own under this one, and a sender who knows the town has already done most of the sorting.

Substituted Stems and the Same Value

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand that morning, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement sent to a Columbia County address.

Once the arrangement is finished, a photo of it goes to the sender at no extra charge, which is worth rather more than a promise about which stems were used.

Anything that looks wrong has three days from the delivery to be raised, because a cut stem does not wait for a complaint, and a photo of what arrived keeps that conversation short.

The arrangement catalog shows the designs, the Oregon county index carries the rest of the state, and Clatsop County, OR begins to the west.
