Edgewood, FL flower delivery by hand

Edgewood fits in 1.22 square miles

A carton from a shipping depot usually spends a night on a truck and then waits on a porch for someone to spot it. Flower delivery in Edgewood, FL works the other way round: a florist near the recipient arranges the flowers by hand, and the finished piece is carried to the door, never taped inside a box.

The city's 2,679 residents, as tallied in 2020, share land that barely tops a single square mile, so an order here is usually headed for a house with its own front walk and, now and then, for an apartment or a small office. On a map that small, the house number is the detail that counts most.

A condo or duplex unit needs its letter or number on a line of its own, and a note about a side gate or a dog in the yard saves time at the door. Put a recipient phone number in the order details if the house is hard to spot from the street.

Three ZIP codes touch the city: 32806, 32809 and 32839. Those codes are shared with the streets around the city, so the street and ZIP together are what put a bouquet on the correct step.

Same day flower delivery in Edgewood needs the order in before 1 PM Eastern time, and the arrangement then arrives between 9 AM and 7 PM. At a desk on Pacific time that hour reads 10 AM; on Central time it reads noon. Anything placed later is arranged for the next day deliveries run.

Sending to Orlando as well as Edgewood

This is an incorporated city, yet it sits inside Orange County, FL, where Orlando is the county seat. A sender with family in both places can place two orders in one sitting, an Edgewood flower delivery for the house and a second one for the Orlando address, each arranged and hand-delivered by a florist close to it.

The Orange County page gathers the other towns an order can reach from the same checkout, Winter Park, Apopka and Ocoee among them. Should the address you hold turn out to sit in Seminole County, FL, that neighboring county keeps its own list of towns and ZIP codes.

Funeral flowers in Edgewood should follow the notice rather than the family's street: a larger standing piece to the chapel it names, and a small vase design for the family's kitchen once the visitors have gone.

Happier news works the same way. A birthday in 32806, a new job at an Orlando office or a thank-you to a neighbor all need a recipient name, the street and the ZIP, and an order placed that morning if it is meant to land the same afternoon.

The card may belong in Holden Heights

The city is small enough that a friend who says they live there may really be describing the place next door. Holden Heights, FL, Pine Castle, FL and Holden Lakes, FL all lie close by, and if the street address you were given belongs to one of them, send it there; a florist delivery follows the address, not the name someone uses for their part of town.

The name trips people up on a bigger scale too. Towns called Edgewood exist in Texas, Ohio, Washington, Maryland and Iowa, plus four more states, so check that the delivery page says Florida and that the ZIP begins with 328 before the order goes through. An Edgewood FL order carrying 32806, 32809 or 32839 is the one you want.

Someone hunting for a flower shop in Edgewood is usually after a finished bouquet at the door that afternoon, not a counter to stand at. An Edgewood florist arranges each order by hand, and it arrives as a composed design from the catalog rather than a bundle of loose stems.

To send flowers to Edgewood for a birthday or an anniversary, pick the design, type the recipient's name and street, and write the card in your own words. Nothing more is needed to order flowers for a local address, and a florist in Edgewood takes it from there.

What a florist may swap, what stays

Now and then a flower type in the picture is not available to the florist when the order comes in. In that case it may be replaced with another type the florist has, and the design is kept as close to the original as the florist can make it.

The format you picked for the Edgewood address is fixed. A vase design stays a vase design, a basket stays a basket, and the size, shape and value you paid for do not shrink, so a sender can pick with confidence even when one particular bloom is uncertain.

A photo of the finished arrangement is sent to you once the florist has made it, at no extra charge, so a sender elsewhere in Florida or out of state can see what was put together before the recipient mentions it.

No flowers go out on Sunday. Flower deliveries run Monday through Saturday, so a Sunday occasion is best covered with a Saturday order. For a recipient somewhere else in the state, start from the Florida delivery page and choose the town there.
