Flower Delivery Across Emery County, UT

A Funeral at Castle Dale

Emery County has one nursing home and no funeral home listed on this page, so a sympathy order here usually goes to a chapel or to a house rather than to a mortuary desk. Say the service time on the order, because the arrangement has to be standing before the family arrives.

Sunday delivery is not available anywhere in Emery County, so a Sunday service at Huntington has to be met on the Saturday before it, and flower delivery otherwise runs Monday through Saturday with deliveries landing between 9 AM and 7 PM.

A sympathy piece sent to the house afterward is usually smaller than the one sent to the service, and in a county of five towns the two often go to addresses a few streets apart. Ordering both at once is the version that saves a second trip.

Picking a Shape for Ferron

San Rafael Health and Rehabilitation in Ferron takes flowers at a front desk, and a low arrangement that fits a bedside table works better there than anything with height. Pick the size first in the full range of arrangements, since a Ferron bedside and a Castle Dale hall are two different orders.

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement, and across 4,462 square miles of desert that is what keeps an Orangeville order on the day it was asked for. A photo of the finished arrangement is sent once it has been made, at no extra charge, so a sender in another state sees the piece before a Castle Dale door does.

The one thing the size decides is where the arrangement can stand. A tall piece needs a floor or a hall table, and in the older houses around Ferron and Orangeville that surface is not always there to be found.

Green River Orders and the 1 PM Hour

Order before 1 PM Mountain time and the flowers reach the recipient the same business day, but Green River sits a long way east of the rest of Emery County, so an afternoon order out there is an order for the next working day.

Five ZIP codes cover the county, and 84513 at Castle Dale and 84523 at Ferron are the two that carry most of the addresses. An order into one of the smaller places is easier to place early in the window than late in it.

That gap between the towns is the thing a map understates. Emery County is larger than several states in the east, and an order that would be an afternoon errand elsewhere is a half day of driving here.

A Thank You Note from Orangeville

A thank you sent to a house in Orangeville or Castle Dale needs a name on the card more than it needs an occasion written out, and 10,161 people live across the whole of the county, so the name is usually enough.

A workplace is the exception, since a building with several offices in it needs the one the recipient sits in. Marking the address as a workplace also moves the delivery toward the front of the window rather than the end of it.

Carbon County, UT lies north up the highway and Sevier County, UT west over the plateau. Five Emery County towns keep pages beneath this one, and every other county in Utah is listed in the Utah county index.
