Flowers Delivered Across Dorchester County, SC

Addresses From Harleyville To Summerville

Dorchester County covers 569 square miles, and the seven ZIP codes inside it behave nothing alike for a courier. A 29485 address in a Summerville subdivision needs a house number and very little else, while a rural box near Harleyville is found faster when the order carries a landmark alongside the street.

A workplace in Summerville is the simplest address of all, because somebody is at the desk right through the working day. A house in Ridgeville can sit empty at four in the afternoon, so a neighbor's name written on the order prevents a second attempt more reliably than any other note does.

About 174,663 people live here, most of them at the Summerville end and the rest spread thin over farm country. That split is the reason one Dorchester order needs an apartment number and the next one needs a mailbox described.

The 1 PM Line For Ridgeville

Order before 1 PM Eastern time for same-day flower delivery to a 29483 or 29448 address, and anything placed after that hour moves to the next working day. Flower delivery runs Monday through Saturday across all four Dorchester towns, Sunday delivery is not available, and arrivals fall between 9 AM and 7 PM.

A sender on the west coast loses the day most easily, because 1 PM in Ridgeville lands while the morning is still young two zones away. Placing the order the evening before takes the arithmetic out of it altogether.

A particular hour can be asked for on the order and passed to the florist, though a request is not a promise. On a Saturday in a county this wide, the early request is the one with room to work.

Sympathy Flowers Sent To St. George

A service at the county seat of St. George usually needs two orders rather than one: a standing spray sized for the room where people gather, and something smaller for the house afterward. The two addresses are rarely the same, and rarely in the same Dorchester ZIP code either.

Orders going to Oakbrook Health and Rehabilitation Center in Summerville do better with a room number written on the card. The same holds at Hallmark Healthcare Center, and at Roper St Francis Hospital-Berkeley a ward name gets the arrangement to the bedside instead of the front desk.

Picking A Shape For Summerville

Choose by the room the piece will stand in rather than by the picture on a screen. A tall arrangement reads well in a hallway and awkwardly on a bedside table, and the arrangement catalog sorts by size for that reason.

Flower types may be substituted for whatever the florist near Summerville has on hand that morning, with no change to the size, shape or value of what was ordered. Once the arrangement is finished, a photo of it goes to the sender at no extra charge.

The four towns under this page each keep a listing of their own: Summerville, St. George, Ridgeville and Harleyville. Every county page in SC sits under the South Carolina delivery index, and an address that turns out to lie south of the Dorchester line belongs on Charleston County, SC, the next page over in South Carolina.
