York County, PA Flower Delivery Page

The 1 PM Cutoff at Hanover

Order before 1 PM Eastern time and same-day flower delivery is open to Hanover and the thirty-seven ZIP codes under this page, 17403 among them. Senders two zones west are working to an eleven o'clock deadline at home whether they know it or not. All of Pennsylvania keeps Eastern time, which puts York County three hours ahead of the pacific coast.

Flower delivery across York County, PA runs Monday through Saturday, Sunday delivery is not available, and arrivals fall between 9 AM and 7 PM. Around the two big flower weeks in February and May the same-day hour can move earlier, so a day of notice is worth more than a precise request. A Sunday service at Hanover or Red Lion has to be covered by a Saturday order instead.

A Birthday at Red Lion

Birthday and new baby orders into Red Lion and the boroughs south of it mostly land at houses that are empty until the evening. A mobile number on the order is the thing that prevents a second attempt at a locked porch. The mailbox name beats the street name on the newer developments. Dallastown and Shrewsbury behave the same way once the school run has ended.

A thank you sent to a workplace is easier to place, because somebody is at a desk through the afternoon. With 471,240 people on this page, the split between the two kinds of address is roughly even, which is unusual for a county page. York County is suburban in the middle and farmland at both edges. Spring Grove and Stewartstown are forty minutes apart across the middle of it.

Hospital Addresses and Ward Numbers

Wellspan York Hospital and Upmc Hanover both move patients between floors during the day, so a room number written into the order is worth more than the street. A low vase clears a tray table where a standing piece simply will not fit. Anything tall ends up in a corridor by the evening. Upmc Hanover sits on the western side and is the only large ward out that way.

Normandie Ridge and Margaret E. Moul Home ask for the same detail. For an apartment in one of the older boroughs, a unit number and a buzzer name do the same job that a ward number does in a hospital. A department name covers the workplace case. The older row housing on this page is exactly why the buzzer name matters.

Sympathy Flowers at Dallastown

A service at Dallastown or Shrewsbury has floor for standing work, and the house the family returns to afterward usually does not. Sending one of each is the arrangement that actually gets used twice. The florist sizes each piece to the room when the order names it. A Glen Rock front room takes the low piece and nothing else.

Flower types may be substituted for what is on hand, though the size, the shape and the value hold as ordered, and a photo of the finished arrangement follows afterward. The city of York, PA keeps its own separate page. See the catalog, the Pennsylvania county index, or Adams County, PA to the west.
