Send Flowers in Tillman County, OK

A Wide Stretch of Three Towns

Tillman County holds 6,736 people across 871 square miles, which works out at fewer than eight people to the square mile and is thin even by Oklahoma standards. Three towns carry all of it, and each of them keeps a page below this one with its own ZIP code on it.

Order before 1 PM Central time and same-day flower delivery is open to 73542, 73546 and 73570, the three ZIP codes this page covers. The line is measured where the flowers land rather than where the order is typed, which is the detail senders get wrong most often.

Flower delivery runs Monday through Saturday across all three Tillman County towns, Sunday delivery is not available, and arrivals land between 9 AM and 7 PM. A photo of the finished arrangement reaches the sender once the florist has made it, at no extra charge.

A Birthday Basket for Tipton

A birthday has a fixed date, which makes it the easiest order in Tillman County: choose two days out and the cutoff never becomes a question. The catalog sorts by occasion first and lists a size beside every design.

A new baby piece wants something a tray table can hold, while a thank you or a congratulations wants something that survives a drive. In Tipton and Grandfield that drive is the longer part of the job. Frederick is the only one of the three with much of a main street, and a piece meant for a shop counter there is not the piece for a farmhouse porch.

Sympathy Orders Without a Local Hospital

Tillman County has no hospital and no nursing home of its own on this page, so sympathy orders here go to a funeral home or to a family house rather than to a ward. That changes the shape of the piece more than it changes the timing. The nearest ward sits over a county line, so a get well order here usually goes to a home address instead.

A standing spray needs an easel and floor to stand on, and the funeral home at Frederick will say whether it has either. A vase piece sent to a house in the week after the service is easier to live with than a piece built for a chapel floor.

Choose a Size for Grandfield

With three towns and one real main street, size is worth settling before color, because it cannot be undone at the door. A tall arrangement in a small front room gets shifted twice; a low bowl on a kitchen table stays exactly where it lands. Grandfield sits forty minutes from Tipton, which is the whole of the driving on an ordinary order here.

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand that morning, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement, and the utmost care goes into keeping it close to the design ordered. On the southwestern plains of Oklahoma that matters far more in August than in April.

Frederick keeps a page of its own, the Oklahoma delivery index gathers every county in the state, and Jackson County, OK begins west of Tillman County, OK while Comanche County, OK runs along the eastern side.
