Flowers for McIntosh County, OK Towns

Lake Addresses Around Eufaula

McIntosh County wraps around a large lake, and the shoreline roads are where addresses go wrong: house numbers jump, and a mailbox number with a cross street does more than any description of the turning.

The three town pages under this one are Eufaula at the seat, Checotah to the north and Texanna on the water, and the two ZIP codes, 74432 and 74426, divide them.

Two ZIP codes for 618 square miles is unusually few, and it means the town name carries more of the routing here than the number ever will.

A workplace order wants a floor or a department, and Eufaula Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center takes flowers at the front desk with the resident name as the staff has it.

A Funeral Piece for Checotah

A standing spray belongs in the room where the service is held, which in a county of 19,710 people is often a different town from the one the family lives in.

Condolence orders should carry the name of the person who died as the notice spells it, and the town written on the order line is what sends the piece to the right chapel in McIntosh County.

Checotah Nursing Center and Lakeview Nursing and Rehab both take flowers at reception, and the resident name written as the staff has it does more than any part of the street address.

The 1 PM Hour at Texanna

An order placed before 1 PM Central time reaches a McIntosh County, OK address on the same business day, and 618 square miles of shoreline do nothing to change that hour.

Flower delivery runs Monday through Saturday for all three McIntosh County towns, Sunday delivery is not available, and arrivals fall between 9 AM and 7 PM.

A sender in the eastern zone is an hour ahead, so an order that feels comfortable at a desk there can already be past the hour in Oklahoma.

Holidays move the hour earlier, so an order for a 74432 address in the week before Mother's Day is safer placed a day ahead than on the morning itself.

Seasonal Stock, Unchanged Size

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand that day, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement sent to a 74426 address.

Once the arrangement is finished, a photo of it goes to the sender at no extra charge, which is how somebody ordering into McIntosh County from another state sees what turned up.

Anything wrong with a Checotah order has three days from the delivery to be raised, because a cut stem does not wait for a complaint to be written.

A delivery charge applies to every order, and a single order going to one Eufaula address is charged once whatever is on it, with the amount kept at checkout rather than written into a page like this one. Texanna is the smallest of the three towns and sits furthest from the highway.

Flower delivery starts in the arrangement catalog, the Oklahoma county index carries the rest of the state, and Pittsburg County, OK begins south of here.
