ZIP 29676 as the one fixed point

Orders here rest on an address that has no town hall behind it: the Census Bureau treats the place as census-designated, a boundary drawn for counting people rather than for running a town, so the address printed on a bill is the only dependable guide.

Copy the town name and ZIP exactly as printed on a bill or letter, and check that the ZIP reads 29676. If the town line says Seneca, Norris or Utica, the order belongs on the page for that name, and a florist close to that address will fill it.

Flowers delivered to an address here are made by florists near Keowee Key, so an accurate address does more for the result than any detail on the form. Write the address without abbreviations that could be read two ways, and never leave out the ZIP.

Copy the address into the order exactly as it is printed, including any unit or lot number. A recipient who is not sure of the ZIP can check it on a recent bill or a package label.

Oconee County beyond Keowee Key

Westminster, Fair Play and Chickasaw Point share the county, so a family spread across them needs a separate order for each household, made by a florist near that address.

The county has 82,475 people. Pickens County, SC and Anderson County border it in South Carolina, Jackson County lies across the line in North Carolina, and Rabun County and Hart County are on the Georgia side, so a relative past the state line has a page as well.

Because the county has several named communities, treat each household separately. One order per address, each with the recipient's full name, keeps every card matched to the right arrangement.

Anywhere else in South Carolina is reached from the South Carolina delivery page, with the same 1 PM Eastern time cutoff. A recipient across the state line is still reached from the page that matches the address.

Houses, units and landmarks in the notes

Orders to Keowee Key go to a community of 2,716 people on 3.468 square miles, going by the 2020 census, so most arrive at houses, with the occasional apartment or office. Put the street number, the unit if there is one, and a landmark in the notes.

Deliveries land between 9 AM and 7 PM, and an hour can be requested in the notes but not promised. A recipient who is away from home during the day should be asked where the arrangement can wait.

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement, so a design chosen for a mantel stays the size of a mantel piece.

A smaller design suits a side table or a bedside shelf, while a taller one belongs on a dining table where nothing will knock it. Choose by the space, then let the florist match the size.

A card for a Keowee Key order

A card is short, so spend its few words on the sender's name as the recipient knows it and one line about the occasion. A birthday in Keowee Key calls for a warm sentence; an anniversary card usually carries two names. A thank-you card can be warmer and more specific than a birthday card, with a sentence about what the favor meant.

A message of sympathy needs even fewer words. Sympathy flowers to Keowee Key families should name the sender clearly, since the family will want to match each arrangement to a person later. Funeral flowers in Keowee Key are best addressed to the place holding the service.
