Orders for 7,592 residents on 1.53 square miles

The place is a small city of 7,592 residents in 2020 on 1.53 square miles of land, so an order here goes to a mix of row houses, apartments and small businesses on closely spaced streets. An address with a unit or floor helps the florist find the correct door.

Flower delivery in Pittston, PA starts with a florist near the address, who builds the arrangement by hand, and ends with a photo of the finished piece sent to the buyer. The ZIP code on file is 18640, and Pittston PA typed into the notes is a useful second check.

Pittston flower delivery follows the recipient's clock. An order placed before 1 PM Eastern time can arrive that business day, between 9 AM and 7 PM, Monday through Saturday, and same day flower delivery in Pittston is not possible after that hour. Sunday delivery is not available.

A sender on the other side of the country should convert the cutoff to the clock in Pennsylvania before ordering, because the recipient's time, not the buyer's, decides whether flowers delivered today are still possible.

Wesley Village: flowers for a resident

Wesley Village is a nursing home on file for the city, and flowers delivered there should carry the resident's full name, the unit and the room. A front desk can hold a bouquet only until someone claims it, so the name has to be exact.

Ask the family whether the resident can have fresh flowers, since some residents have allergies or oxygen equipment nearby. A small arrangement fits a shelf, and a plant is easier to care for over weeks.

A get well bouquet to Wesley Village should arrive in the afternoon, when visitors are likelier to be there. Asking for a particular window in the notes is allowed, but the florist cannot promise an hour.

The photo that follows the delivery lets a distant relative see what was sent, and it shows whether a stem was swapped for another type.

A Sunday birthday and the choice of Saturday or Monday

A birthday in Pittston that falls on a Sunday needs a plan, since Sunday delivery is not available. Flowers delivered on Saturday come with a card that says early; flowers on Monday come with one that says belated.

A Saturday order needs to be placed before 1 PM Eastern time that day or earlier in the week. Delivery lands between 9 AM and 7 PM, and an hour can be requested but never promised.

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, and the size, shape and value of the arrangement stay as ordered. The birthday card should name the sender in full, since a first name may belong to several relatives.

A mixed bouquet in the birthday person's favorite colors is a safe choice when no one knows what they already have at home, and a plant is a quieter alternative for someone who dislikes cut stems.

A Pittston newborn and the first quiet week

A bouquet for a newborn is best timed for after the homecoming, when someone is in to bring it inside. A call to the family settles the day, and then the order can be placed for the next afternoon.

Funeral flowers in Pittston are a different kind of order, with a service hour and a place; flowers for a baby need only a date. A small arrangement in soft colors suits a house with visitors, and a plant outlasts a first busy week.

Order flowers on this page and a local florist builds the bouquet, with the delivery photo sent once the piece is finished and no extra charge for it. Florist delivery to a house with a sleeping baby goes smoothly when the notes say not to ring the bell.

Congratulations cards for a new baby read best when short, with the baby's name if it is known and the sender's name at the end.
