Lima, PA Flower Delivery by Local Florist

Ordering flowers for Lima without landing in Ohio

A search for flower delivery Lima can return Lima in Ohio, and an order placed for the wrong state costs a day or more. Check that the order says Lima PA, ZIP code 19063, before paying for flowers delivered.

If a recipient gives the town name without a state, ask for the state and for a recent letter. The ZIP settles the question in seconds, and an Ohio ZIP on the order means the wrong page was used.

This page covers flower delivery in Lima, PA only. Each bouquet is hand-arranged by a local florist in or near the recipient's area and delivered by hand, never boxed and mailed.

People often start with a search for a florist in Lima or florists near Lima, and the results mix Ohio with Pennsylvania. The order form here takes the state and ZIP, so nothing is left to guess. Anyone typing flower shop in Lima will find an order page, not a counter.

One ZIP and a mix of doors in Lima

The 2020 count was 2,745 people on 1.47 square miles, so addresses range from single houses to apartment blocks. A recipient in an apartment needs a unit number in the order notes, and a house needs a clear street number.

Same-day arrival needs the order before 1 PM Eastern time, the recipient's clock. Delivery runs Monday through Saturday, and Sunday delivery is not available. The arrival falls between 9 AM and 7 PM, and a particular hour can be requested but not promised.

A bouquet that has to pass a front desk or a gated entrance should have that detail in the notes. Lima flower delivery runs on the same hours for apartment blocks and for houses.

A florist builds each bouquet by hand, flower types may be substituted for what is on hand, and the size, shape and value stay as ordered. The photo shows the finished piece.

Senders who would rather order flowers for the week ahead can place the order on Monday for a Thursday, and flower deliveries cover Monday through Saturday only. An address with a long drive or a shared entrance deserves a line in the notes about which door is the front one.

Media and Chester Heights next door

Chester Heights, PA and Media, PA are close to the place and have their own coverage. Media is the seat of Delaware County, PA, so the county page covers the whole area.

The place is a census-designated place with no government of its own, so mail may carry the name of another town. Ask the recipient which town is on their envelope, and use that name with the ZIP.

Brookhaven, PA and Village Green-Green Ridge, PA are covered separately as well. Chester County, PA and Montgomery County, PA border Delaware County in Pennsylvania, which helps a sender who knows the area by its counties. Other towns across Pennsylvania are on the state page.

Birthday Sundays need a Saturday plan

A birthday on a Sunday cannot be met with a Sunday delivery, so order for Saturday and put the date on the card. Friday is safer when the recipient works away from home on Saturdays.

Same day flower delivery in Lima works for a birthday if the order is placed before 1 PM Eastern time. The arrival is somewhere in the day's window, and an hour written in the notes is a wish, not a plan.

Anniversaries follow the same calendar. The card can name the real date while the bouquet arrives a day early, and the photo of the finished arrangement lets the sender see the look.

Newborn bouquets and apartment buzzers

New baby flowers land best when a parent is home. In an apartment, add the unit and the buzzer name; in a house, the front door is the address.

A low arrangement suits a nursery shelf better than a tall one. Use the notes to say which part of the day the household is quieter, as a request.

Order flowers for a day or two after the birth, and keep the card short. The product pages show the designs and sizes.

Sympathy orders and care-home ZIPs

Funeral flowers in Lima can go to the place of the service or to the family's house. For a service, give the director's name and the hour; for a house, the street address.

Sympathy flowers to Lima for a Sunday service must be delivered on Saturday or earlier. Fair Acres Geriatric Center lists ZIP 19037, which differs from the ZIP of the place, so a delivery there needs that ZIP and the resident's name.

People who send flowers to Lima from a distance can add a short note to the card, and the florist cannot add what the order did not say. Cemetery or graveside delivery is not the plan; flowers are sent to the funeral director or to the family's home, with the hour of the service written into the notes so that the arrival is timed for the day.
