Edwardsville, PA Flower Delivery by Local Florist

Edwardsville is a borough of 4,929 people in the 2020 census, and flower delivery in Edwardsville, PA shares its name with towns in two other states. ZIP code 18704 is printed on mail for the borough, which sits in Luzerne County, PA.

Before anything else, a sender should confirm the state, because a name can mislead a search. The rest of this page covers the county, the neighbors, what a substitution changes, the finished photo, and the choice between a plant and cut flowers for a home.

Luzerne towns that sit near Wilkes-Barre

Wilkes-Barre is the seat of Luzerne County, and a sender who knows the recipient lives nearby may type the city instead of the borough. The order should name the borough and ZIP 18704, with the city left out.

Ashley and Avoca are other towns in the county with delivery pages, and a recipient in either needs that page. Lackawanna County, PA and Carbon County, PA adjoin the county, with their own pages for recipients on that side.

Same day flower delivery in Edwardsville follows the county calendar: orders placed before 1 PM Eastern time can be delivered the same day, Monday through Saturday, between 9 AM and 7 PM, and Sunday delivery is not available. Edwardsville flower delivery uses the same rules as the county page.

A sender who is not sure how far a street is from the borough line can ask the recipient for a photo of a utility bill, which shows the town the mail uses.

Flowers for Edwardsville, PA, not for Illinois or Kansas

A town named Edwardsville exists in Illinois and another in Kansas, so a search for flower delivery can show a sender the wrong one. Check that the order reads Pennsylvania and ZIP 18704 before paying for flowers.

An order for the Illinois town cannot be redirected once a florist has arranged it, and the same holds for Kansas. A short text to the recipient that names the state is a cheap safeguard.

Edwardsville PA is the form to copy from the recipient's own mail, and a family sending flowers together should share one address line.

Searches on a phone often finish the name automatically, so the state shown beside the suggestion deserves a glance before the order is placed.

Kingston, Pringle and Larksville around the borough

Kingston, PA and Pringle, PA are on the neighbor list, with Larksville, PA and Courtdale completing it. A recipient near the boundary may give any of those as home, and each has a page of its own.

With 4,929 people on 1.185 square miles, the borough has houses, apartments and small offices close together, so the unit, the department or the side door belongs in the notes.

A florist near Edwardsville arranges the bouquet by hand, and a person carries it to the address. A wish about the hour can go in the notes; a florist cannot guarantee it.

Flower deliveries to an apartment building go more smoothly when the order names the building letter and the floor, since a door buzzer may list only surnames.

Size, shape and value: the three things a swap cannot change

When a flower from the picture is short, a florist may use another type in its place. The arrangement is not made smaller or cheaper, and its size, shape and value stay as ordered.

Birthday flowers for a Edwardsville recipient are often chosen by color, and a note about the color gives the florist something to match when a swap is needed.

Sympathy arrangements work the same way, and white or green ones give a florist the most room to substitute without changing the look.

The photo that proves what was made

After the florist finishes, a photo of the finished arrangement is sent to the sender at no extra charge. It shows the actual piece, so a sender can compare colors and fullness with the catalog picture.

A sender can forward the photo to the recipient, which helps when the gift is for someone who lives alone and may be slow to answer the door. Flower deliveries on a Saturday run in the same window as on a weekday.

Order flowers early in the week for a Saturday event, and the photo leaves the sender time to mention the arrangement in a call before the day.

Living plant or cut stems: which suits a Edwardsville household

Cut flowers give color for about a week, while a plant can stay for months. A recipient who is moving, traveling or short of counter space is better served by cut flowers in a compact vase.

A green plant suits someone who will keep it, and it is the safer choice in a home where pets or small children could upset a vase. A flowering plant sits between the two.

Anyone typing flower shop in Edwardsville into a search bar reaches this page, which takes orders online; a florist in Edwardsville or nearby makes each design by hand.
