Davidsville, PA Flower Delivery from Somerset County

Where Davidsville sits explains most of what a sender needs to know. The town belongs to Somerset County, PA, and the towns and counties around it decide which page an order should start from. Flower delivery in Davidsville, PA runs from ZIP codes 15935 and 15928, and a local florist makes each order by hand.

Flowers for Laurel View Village

Laurel View Village is a nursing home in ZIP code 15928, and flowers sent there should carry the resident's full name, the room or wing if the family has it, and the facility name exactly as written. A bedside shelf is small, so pick a compact arrangement, and a plant suits a room with a window.

Ask the family whether flowers can go straight to the room or whether the front desk prefers to receive them. Hoffman Funeral Home is also listed in ZIP 15928, and funeral flowers in Davidsville belong with the funeral director, with the service hour in the notes, not at the family's door on the day of the service.

Orders placed before 1 PM Eastern time can be delivered the same business day, and deliveries land between 9 AM and 7 PM, Monday through Saturday, so a Sunday visit to a resident cannot be met with a delivery that day. Same day flower delivery in Davidsville needs a weekday or a Saturday morning order, and florists near Davidsville can be asked for a part of the day, though no hour can be promised.

Somerset's other towns on the order form

Somerset County, PA holds 72,134 people and 1,075 square miles in all, so a recipient's town can be a long way from the one a sender first thought of. The seat, Somerset, PA, takes orders on a separate page, as do Boswell, PA and Windber, PA in the same county.

Jerome, PA is the nearest page on the list, followed by Ferndale, PA and then Belmont, PA. A sender who knows only a first name for the recipient's town should compare it with those three before choosing, because flower deliveries are built around the address and cannot be moved to another town afterward.

Counties around Somerset have pages as well, among them Bedford County, PA and Cambria County, PA, and Maryland's Garrett County, MD lies across the state line. Searches for a flower shop in Davidsville lead to the same form, since there is no counter in town, only a florist in Davidsville or near it who makes the order. A second gift for another town can begin from the Pennsylvania delivery pages.

A Davidsville address with no town office behind it

Davidsville is a census-designated place with 1,145 people in 2020, not a municipality, so no town office stands behind the name on a delivery address and a recipient's postal address may carry a different town. Ask the recipient what is printed on their mail, and put that line in the order notes.

ZIP codes 15935 and 15928 both serve the area, so the full street address and ZIP are worth asking for. At 2.307 square miles for 1,145 people, the place is small enough that a street number and a road name usually suffice for flowers delivered there, and a mailbox color or the name on it helps on a long road.

Delivery in Davidsville PA runs Monday through Saturday and Sunday delivery is not available, so a Davidsville birthday that falls on a Sunday moves to Saturday. Send the order early in the week and a Pennsylvania weekend becomes easy to plan.

Davidsville bouquets: what can change and what cannot

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, and that is the only flexibility: the arrangement keeps its size, shape and value as ordered. A bouquet pictured with one kind of bloom may arrive with a close relative, kept as similar to the picture as the stems allow, and it will not match the catalog photo exactly.

A sender who cares about a particular flower should say so in the notes, remembering that a note is a request and not a contract. Anyone who would rather skip the question can order flowers in a mixed design from the mixed designs, where one stem more or less barely shows.

Davidsville gets a picture of the real bouquet

A photo of the finished arrangement is sent to the sender once the florist has made it, at no extra charge. It shows the actual bouquet and not the catalog picture, so any substitution is visible, and the photo can be forwarded to the recipient with a line of greeting.

To send flowers to Davidsville for an anniversary or a thank-you, order a day ahead and let the photo confirm the result. Davidsville flower delivery is the same whether the order is small or large: a local florist builds it, a person hand-delivers it, and the picture comes back to you.
