Chester, PA Flower Delivery on Eastern Time

A sender calling from another state usually asks the same question first: how late can the order be placed? The answer is before 1 PM Eastern time, so a sender in a different time zone checks the hour in Pennsylvania and not at home. Flower delivery in Chester, PA runs Monday through Saturday, and Sunday delivery is not available.

Flowers addressed to Hunt Irving Funeral Home

Hunt Irving Funeral Home is listed at ZIP code 19013, one of the two ZIP codes for the city. Funeral flowers in Chester that go there should carry the family surname and the day and hour of the visitation, so the staff can match the arrangement to the right service.

Orders for Chester PA that are meant for a Saturday service are safest placed on Friday, since the service itself may fall on a Monday and nothing arrives on a Sunday. Some families prefer flowers at the house, and the funeral home can say which the family wants before the order is made, which saves everyone a second delivery.

The Belvedere Center and flowers for residents

The Belvedere Center, Genesis Healthcare is a nursing home at ZIP 19013, and a bouquet there is for a resident, so the order should state the resident's full name and, if the sender knows it, the room or wing. A florist in Chester can only deliver to a name that the front desk recognizes.

Care homes keep routines for meals and therapy, and a delivery between 9 AM and 7 PM can arrive at any point of that day. A preferred time can be added to the notes as a request, never as a promise. Low arrangements suit a bedside table, and a plant fits a long stay.

One Chester, nine others, and the right ZIP

A flower delivery search for this name can return places in Virginia, New York or Montana as readily as the city in Pennsylvania. The order summary should read Chester, PA, with ZIP code 19013 or 19016, and either matches the city. Seeing the wrong name on a confirmation is easier to fix before payment.

The city sits in Delaware County, PA, while the county that shares its name is a different place altogether; a recipient there needs the page for Chester County, PA instead. Close neighbors such as Upland, PA and Eddystone, PA have pages of their own, and so does Chester Heights, so a single order should name only one of them.

Card wording: short and signed

A florist's card has little space, and the recipient will read it standing at the door. Open with who it is from, then give a single reason, and stop.

For a sympathy order, a plain line such as thinking of you and your family says enough, and for a birthday a warm word and a signature do the same. A Chester flower delivery for a birthday gains little from a long poem. The card also settles any doubt about whether the bouquet reached the right house.

Flowers for a desk at Widener University or any Chester office

Workplace orders need the business name, the department and a named recipient. A front desk will hold flowers for someone it can find on a list, and a first name alone leaves staff guessing. Widener University is a named institution in the city, and a gift to someone there needs a building and a department on the address.

Offices keep their own hours, and a delivery between 9 AM and 7 PM can arrive after a desk has closed. The sender can request a time, though no time is guaranteed, and flower deliveries to a workplace go best when the notes name a person at the desk.

Getting past the lobby with a bouquet in Chester

Buildings with entry codes, buzzers or staffed desks add a step to a hand delivery. The notes can carry the unit, the buzzer name and any gate instruction, along with the floor, so nothing has to be guessed at the entrance.

A bouquet that cannot be handed to the recipient is a problem for everyone, so if the building does not allow visitors, choose an address where the recipient will be, such as a workplace. Flowers delivered to a lobby or to a front door get the same photo of the finished arrangement for the sender.

Several bouquets for one address

Families often send more than one arrangement to the same house, for example a vase for the table and a plant for a hallway. Several items to the same address in one order carry a single delivery charge, while separate addresses are separate orders with their own notes.

Florists near Chester take each address as it is given, so each bouquet is arranged by one of them, and flower types may be swapped for what is on hand while size, shape and value stay the same. To order flowers or send flowers to Chester, see the catalog; the Pennsylvania delivery pages cover other towns. Same day flower delivery in Chester follows the 1 PM Eastern line, and a flower shop in Chester is not needed for any of it.
