Brockway's size and what it does to the notes

The 2020 count for the borough is 2,280 people on 1.185 square miles, so addresses sit close together and a delivery is never a long trip. A wrong house number is easy to fix when the card and the notes name the household, so the person who answers the door knows the flowers are theirs.

Same day flower delivery in Brockway needs the order placed before 1 PM Eastern time. Deliveries run Monday through Saturday between 9 AM and 7 PM, Sunday delivery is not available, and a wished-for hour can go in the notes without being guaranteed. Short trips mean the person at the door may know the recipient, so a plain name on the card helps.

Room notes for Highland View residents

Highland View Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is the named care facility on file for Brockway, and flowers delivered there need the resident's full name and room. Reception staff are the first hands the arrangement meets, so a clear label saves a second trip down the hall. If the resident shares a room, add the roommate's last name; a bouquet that lands on the wrong side of a curtain is an easy mistake to avoid.

A plant or a low bouquet suits a bedside table better than a tall arrangement. Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement, so describe the colors you care about. A photo of the finished piece is sent to you before it reaches the room.

An anniversary for two, delivered to a Brockway door

Say in the notes whether the bouquet is a surprise or expected, and put both names on the card. A card for a couple who have been together for years can say how many; a card for newlyweds can say what you hope for them next.

Keep scents light, and pick a bright color, since yellow or orange does a lot for a quiet room.
