Avon, PA Flower Delivery by a Local Florist

Avon, Lebanon and the same word twice

The community belongs to Lebanon County, PA, and Lebanon is the county seat, so a sender may meet the word Lebanon twice on the same order. Lebanon, PA has its own page, and Lebanon South, PA is another label that turns up on envelopes. The ZIP code here is 17042.

Berks County, PA, Dauphin County, PA and Lancaster County, PA are neighboring pages for relatives farther afield. A sender with family in several of them can place one order for each address.

A florist near the recipient builds every arrangement by hand and delivers it to the door. Flowers delivered Monday through Saturday, between 9 AM and 7 PM, reach the same addresses a mail carrier would, and Sunday delivery is not available.

Because the seat and the sender's search term share a word, a mix-up between the two pages is easy. Reading the borough name off the mailing line settles which page the order belongs on.

Houses on small lots in Avon

This is a census-designated place, so there is no town hall of its own, and the address on an order may carry another town's name. Its 1,676 residents live across 1.376 square miles, so delivery addresses range from houses on small lots to a few apartments.

Copy the mailing line from a recent envelope, and add a unit number if there is one. A florist in Avon or near it reads the line exactly as typed.

Anyone who wants to send flowers to Avon from another state should write the recipient's full name on the order, since two households may share a surname, and florists nearby can only match what the screen shows.

In a place this size, mail may be sorted at a neighboring post office, so ask the recipient which town name appears on their envelopes and use that line.

Six other states and one flower order

Anyone typing flower delivery Avon into a search box can end up on an order for Ohio, Illinois, South Dakota, Colorado, Indiana or Minnesota before Pennsylvania. Before you order flowers for flower delivery in Avon, PA, read the summary line for the state and ZIP 17042.

The state field is the easiest mistake to avoid, and a florist delivers to whatever state the order names. People who search for a flower shop in Avon are after a bouquet at an address, and florists near Avon answer by making the arrangement by hand.

An order for the wrong state goes to a different florist entirely, and there is no way to forward it after payment. Flowers delivered to the wrong place cannot be recalled, so the state line deserves a second look.

A gift tag with the right name and relationship

The tag is the part of an order that speaks for the sender, so write it before checking out. Name the sender, add the relationship in a few words and leave out jokes that a visitor would not follow.

Use the recipient's full name on the tag and the address line. A birthday bouquet for a friend in Avon PA reaches the right door when the name on the tag matches the name on the mailbox.

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with the arrangement keeping the size, shape and value that were ordered, and a photo of the finished piece follows at no extra charge.

A card for a friend works best with two lines and a name, not a paragraph. The florist copies it as typed, so check spelling before payment.

Offices and the people at the front desk

A package for a business passes a front desk before it reaches a person. Write the company, the department and the person's name, and add the hours the office keeps, since a delivery between 9 AM and 7 PM may arrive when a desk is empty.

Funeral flowers in Avon for a coworker's family belong at the service or the family's home, not at the office, with the day and the hour written into the notes.

Where a business shares a building with others, the suite or floor matters more than the company name, so write both.

Divided houses, side doors and where the flowers are left

Some houses are divided into units, so the second address line should carry the unit and the name by the bell. If the building has two entrances, name the one that has the buzzer.

Same day flower delivery in Avon is open to orders placed before 1 PM Eastern time, and an order that misses the hour moves to the next delivery day. For other towns, use the Pennsylvania page, and compare sizes in the catalog.

Apartments in converted houses often have a buzzer for each unit. A note listing the buzzer name saves a florist from pressing every button.
