Lawton, OK Flower Delivery, From Order to Photo

From a front porch to a hospital ward: addresses in Lawton

Lawton had 90,387 residents in 2020 and covers 81.512 square miles, so flower delivery in Lawton, OK reaches houses, apartment doors, offices, hospital wards and care centers, and each kind of address asks for a different line on the order. Delivery runs Monday through Saturday for all of them.

Six ZIP codes serve the city: 73501, 73502, 73503, 73505, 73506 and 73507. In a city this wide, the ZIP is the fastest way for a florist to place an address, so type the one printed on the recipient's mail and not one guessed from the street name.

For a patient, add the full name, the ward and the room. Southwestern Medical Center and Memorial Health are the kinds of places where a bouquet without a ward number may wait at a front desk. A resident of McMahon-Tomlinson Nursing Center or Willow Park Health Care Center needs the name the staff know and a room number.

Cameron University adds a different kind of address. A student's room, a building or a department belongs on the order beside the person's name, and a bouquet for a graduate should name the hall or the office where it can be signed for, not just the word campus.

Lawton in Iowa and Michigan means checking the order

A town with this name also exists in Iowa and in Michigan, so an order for flowers that leaves out the state can go astray. Check that the order says Oklahoma, shows one of the ZIP codes above, and names a street that exists in this city.

Typed the way people search, the place is Lawton OK 73501. That line, copied from the recipient's mail, is the cleanest way to tell this city from its namesakes, and it costs nothing to compare against the order summary before paying.

The Oklahoma delivery page lists the other Oklahoma towns that have pages of their own. If the recipient lives in one of them, order from that page, since each is written for the florists around that town and its roads.

A sender far from Oklahoma has one more thing to check: the clock. Orders placed before 1 PM Central time can arrive the same business day, which is 2 PM on the East Coast and 11 AM on the Pacific clock. Sunday delivery is not available, so a Saturday order placed after the line waits for Monday.

Nearby pages for nearby doors: Geronimo, Cache, Elgin

The city lies in Comanche County, OK, and it is also the seat of its county. The county page lists every community with a page of its own, which is a quick way to confirm a mailing town for an address on the edge of the city.

Geronimo, Cache, Elgin, Sterling, Fletcher and Walters are the towns around it. Order from Cache, OK or Elgin, OK when the envelope names one of them, and from Fletcher, OK for Fletcher; each page is written for the florists around its own town.

Across the line, the Caddo County, OK page, the Grady County, OK page and the Kiowa County, OK page cover recipients whose mail carries those counties, and the Stephens County, OK page does the same for its side. Where a road runs over a county line, the nearest florist may change, so give the street and ZIP in full.

Same day flower delivery in Lawton runs on the recipient's clock and lands between 9 AM and 7 PM. A preferred hour can be asked for in the notes, but it is a request and not a promise, and a big city has long drives between addresses.

What changes in a bouquet and what the photo proves

Flower types may be substituted for what the local florist has on hand. The size, shape and value of the arrangement do not change, so a bouquet ordered in a large vase arrives as a large bouquet, with colors close to the catalog picture.

After the florist has made the arrangement, a photo of the finished piece is sent at no extra charge. It shows the real bouquet and any substitution, which makes it easy for a sender far away to see what is waiting at the door.

A sender can forward the photo to the recipient, or keep it as a record of what was sent and when. Florists near Lawton make each design by hand, and a florist in Lawton or one close by builds from the order text alone, for flowers delivered to any address on the list above.
