Fourteen towns share this page, and they are not remotely alike. Longmont, Louisville and Lafayette sit out on flat ground with straightforward addresses, while Nederland, Allenspark and Lyons climb into the canyons behind them. Boulder County covers both, and the distance between one end and the other is what shapes most of the practical advice below.

About 330,262 people live here across roughly 726 square miles, and the population is stacked heavily onto the eastern edge. Out there the addresses are ordinary: numbered streets, visible house numbers, short drives between one stop and the next. West of that the ground rises fast, and an address at Nederland or Allenspark can be forty minutes from a florist even though it looks close on a map. Both halves are covered by this page. They just behave differently on an afternoon order, and it is worth knowing which half you are sending into.
The ZIP codes follow the same pattern. 80501, 80503 and 80504 cover Longmont on the plain, 80026 and 80027 sit south of it, and 80466 and 80540 climb into the hills. If the address you have is in one of the higher ranges, treat the drive as longer than the mileage suggests, and add a note about the road if it is unpaved or unlit.
The middle band is easy to overlook and holds a good share of the addresses. Gunbarrel, Niwot and Superior sit on the flat between the two extremes, with Paragon Estates, Lazy Acres and Pine Brook Hill starting the climb. Boulder County covers all of them from the same page, and the practical difference between the first three and the last three is roughly twenty minutes of driving on a clear day and rather more on a poor one.
Same-day service depends on the order landing before 1 PM Mountain time, counted where the flowers are going. That is the detail senders elsewhere get wrong most often, because it is instinctive to read a deadline against your own clock. Our delivery days are Monday through Saturday and there is no Sunday service. Deliveries arrive inside a 9 AM to 7 PM window, and a preferred hour can be requested in the notes although it cannot be promised. During the holiday weeks the deadline moves earlier.
Longmont United Hospital, Longs Peak Hospital, Life Care Center of Longmont and The Peaks Care Center are all in Longmont, with Good Samaritan Medical Center and Coal Creek Post Acute over in Lafayette and two more hospitals in Louisville. All of them take flowers at a front desk. Give a full patient name, and where you have it a ward, and expect the arrangement to be walked up rather than met at the door.
Morning is the half of the window to aim at for any of those addresses. An arrangement that lands at ten is in the room before the first visitors arrive and does its work all day. One that lands at half past six does its work tomorrow. Neither is wrong, but if the flowers are meant to be seen on a particular day, the earlier slot is the one to ask for.
Altitude and dry air shorten the life of an open bloom, which is an argument for buying tighter buds rather than a fuller looking arrangement on the day. A design that arrives already standing in water asks nothing of the recipient and holds a great deal better than a wrapped bunch left on a porch in Longmont or Lyons in August. Where the piece is going somewhere warm and centrally heated, and most houses in Boulder County are heated for much of the year, more foliage and fewer fully open heads is the version still worth looking at a week later.
Colorado is one of the drier states in the country, and that is the whole reason this paragraph exists rather than a general note about vases. It is also why the notes field is worth using to say where the arrangement will stand: a windowsill in full sun and a hallway table are two different lifespans for the same flowers.
Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement. What the florist works to is the ordered design, matched as nearly as the stems standing in the cooler that morning will allow. A photograph of the actual arrangement is sent once the florist has made it, at no extra charge, so a substitution is something the sender can see rather than something they have to imagine. If one particular flower carries the whole meaning of the gift, write that into the notes and it will be treated as fixed rather than as flexible.
A funeral has an hour and flowers that arrive during it are a problem rather than a comfort. Ask the funeral director when the arrangements are wanted, then place the order for the day before wherever possible. Winter adds a second reason to order early here, because a canyon road can close for a morning and a piece booked with a day of margin absorbs that without anyone noticing. A tribute sent to the family home a week later is often the more useful of the two orders, and it arrives when the visitors have gone. Put the name of the person who died into the notes as well, since a chapel handling two services in one morning has nothing else to place the arrangement by. Boulder County keeps no funeral home on our list, so a sympathy order here travels either to a family address or to a service held under a neighboring page, and Colorado runs a page of this kind for every one of its counties.
There is a city called Boulder inside this county that shares the name, and it keeps its own separate page with its own street detail and its own ZIP codes. If you are sending to a street address in the city itself, use that page. This one covers the whole county and links down to every town under it, which is a different job. Neighboring pages are Larimer County, CO north, Weld County, CO east, Jefferson County, CO south and Grand County, CO over the divide. The state index is at flower delivery in Colorado, and the arrangements themselves sit on the products page.
