Pike County, OH Flower Delivery

Same Day Orders From Waverly

An order placed before 1 PM Eastern time reaches a Pike County, OH address the same business day. Three postal codes are in play, 45613, 45661 and 45690, and the same hour applies to all three of them.

Flower deliveries run Monday through Saturday to every address in these 440 square miles, and Sunday delivery is not available. Arrival falls between 9 AM and 7 PM, which in hill country usually means the afternoon for anything east of the seat.

Around the four big holidays the same-day hour can sit earlier than 1 PM. A sender who knows that in advance orders on the Thursday instead of gambling on the Friday. Pike is not a place where an afternoon can be recovered by driving faster.

Three Towns and 440 Square Miles

Waverly, Piketon and Beaver are the whole of it, and each keeps a page of its own beneath this one. There is no fourth town, no ring road and no dense grid of streets anywhere in Pike.

Emptiness is the useful fact rather than a gap in the research. With 27,065 people spread over 440 square miles, a delivery address here is nearly always a house, a farm or one of the named buildings below.

Ross County, OH takes over to the north, while Scioto County, OH begins downstream to the south, and the Ohio county index lists every other one.

Addresses Out On the Rural Routes

Adena Pike Medical Center stands in Waverly inside 45690 and takes patient flowers at reception. The patient name is what carries the order to the right bed, since the room number is the detail most likely to have changed by the afternoon.

Piketon Nursing Center and National Church Residences Bristol Village both work the same way, with a front desk rather than a door. Naming the resident and the wing removes the only real cause of a failed attempt, and it saves a call back to the sender later in the day.

For a house on a numbered route in 45613, put the road name and a landmark in the note field and give a contact number. There is no quick second run to the far side of a county this size.

Substituted Stems and Winter Supply

Flower types may be substituted for whatever a florist near Piketon has on hand that morning, with no change to the size, the shape or the value of the arrangement ordered. In February that flexibility is the only thing keeping same day workable.

Once a Pike arrangement is finished, a photo of it is sent to the sender at no extra charge. The catalog shows what was chosen, and the photo shows what reached the door in 45661.

Anything that looks wrong has three days from arrival to be raised. A replacement, a refund or a part credit are the ways a Pike County order gets settled, and none of them survives a week of waiting.

The Pavilion at Piketon is the fourth named building on this page, and it takes flowers the same way the others do. Between the three towns there is very little else, which is why naming the town beats naming the county on anything sent into Pike from outside Ohio.
