Highland County, OH Flower Delivery

Hillsboro Orders and the 1 PM Line

An order for a Highland County address placed before 1 PM Eastern time is worked the same business day. Past that hour it becomes a next day job, and across 553 square miles the next day is not always the same time of day.

Flower deliveries to the seven Highland County towns run Monday through Saturday, Sunday delivery is not available, and arrivals fall between 9 AM and 7 PM. A Saturday order is what covers a Sunday occasion, and there is no later run behind it to lean on.

Hillsboro, OH is the seat and holds most of the addresses. Greenfield at the north east is the second place they gather, and the gap between the two is the practical reason an early order is worth more here than in a compact county.

Picking a Shape for Greenfield

Shape decides more than the flowers do. A tall vase piece wants a hall table or a floor space; a low bowl is the one that works on a bedside table or a kitchen counter, and it is the safer choice when the room has not been seen.

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has that morning, with no change to the size, shape or value of a Highland County arrangement. Between 45123 and 45133 the stock on a given week is not always the same, and that rule is what keeps a Greenfield order filled.

A photo of the finished arrangement is sent before it leaves for a Highland County address, at no extra charge. Every shape, with the size given for each, is set out under arrangements.

Highland County is wide enough that the choice of shape is also a choice about the drive. A weighted container travels a ridge road better than a tall glass one, and it is the small decision that most often decides how a piece looks on arrival in Ohio in midwinter.

Seven Towns Around Hillsboro

Seven towns keep listings under this page. Hillsboro is the seat, Greenfield sits at the north east, Leesburg is north west and Lynchburg is west, with Mowrystown and Rocky Fork Point filling in the south.

Five codes cover the county, 45123, 45133, 45135, 45142 and 45155, and 45133 holds the seat. This is a large county by area and a thin one by population, 43.785 people over 553 square miles, so a road name in the order does real work.

To the north east Ross County, OH takes over and to the west the line meets Brown County, OH, and every county in Ohio is listed on the Ohio delivery index.

Hospital Addresses and Office Desks

Highland District Hospital in the seat takes flowers at a central desk and carries them to the ward, so a unit number is worth more than a street. Greenfield Area Medical Center works the same way at the other end of the county.

Funeral work is timed to the service. Edgington Funeral Home and Turner Funeral Home and Crematory both set an hour, and a standing spray belongs at that address rather than at a house where the family will not be until the evening.

An office desk takes a small piece and no more. Hillsboro Health and Rehab and Hillsboro Post Acute both prefer a room number in the order, and a resident delivery is walked through from reception rather than left at a door.

A house on a Highland County township road is the other extreme. There is often no doorbell to press and no near neighbor to leave a piece with, so a contact number turns a failed attempt into a delivery, and anything that looks wrong has three days from the drop to be raised, with a replacement or a refund to settle it.
