Flowers Across Cortland County, NY

The question a sender in another state actually has is what time the order has to be in, and here the answer is clean: 1 PM Eastern time, in the recipient's zone rather than the sender's. Cortland County is small enough that the answer does not change from one end of it to the other.

The city of Cortland keeps its own separate page, and this one covers the wider ground: 45,945 residents, 499 square miles, two ZIP codes and four towns.

The 1 PM Line, Two Zones Out

An order placed before 1 PM Eastern time is worked the same business day at 13045 or 13101. Flower delivery runs Monday through Saturday at both codes, with arrivals between 9 AM and 7 PM.

Sunday delivery is not available at either ZIP code, so a Sunday occasion is covered by a Saturday arrival. For a sender in the mountain zone the cutoff is eleven in the morning where she sits, and on the west coast it is ten. That is the single detail that costs people a day, and it is not obvious from a checkout screen.

A Birthday for McGraw

Birthdays and anniversaries are most of what goes to McGraw and Munsons Corners. A house address is straightforward here; a campus or workplace address wants a department or a hall name alongside the street, because a front desk will not always chase a first name.

Guthrie Cortland Regional Medical Center and Crown Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center are the two named institutions worth knowing on this page. Both take deliveries for people in rooms, and a room number moves an order faster than anything else the sender can add.

Substituted Stems, Same Size

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, and the size, shape and value of the arrangement stay exactly as ordered. With only two ZIP codes drawing on one supply, a January order is the likeliest of the year to arrive with a substituted filler. During Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Christmas and Easter the cutoff can move earlier as well, and in those weeks a day of notice does more than any change of design.

A photo of the finished arrangement follows at no extra charge once the florist has completed it. The arrangement range is worth a look first, since scale is the one thing a sender decides and cannot revise later.

Four Towns and Munsons Corners

Cortland West rounds out the four, and each of them has a page under this one. Four towns is the shortest list of any county page in this part of the state. Beyond the line, Tompkins County, NY lies to the west and Madison County, NY begins to the north east.

The New York delivery index is the fastest way to a town page when the county is not the level a sender wants. Two ZIP codes and 499 square miles make Cortland County one of the simpler entries on that list of New York counties, and a sender who has the street usually has everything the order needs. There is no second town of any size to confuse it with.
