Same Day Flowers, Madison County NY

The hour that decides a Madison County, NY delivery is 1 PM Eastern time: order before it and the arrangement goes out the same working day, order after it and it goes tomorrow. That is the whole of it, and it applies from Wampsville to the far side of the county.

The 1 PM Cutoff at Canastota

Flower deliveries land between 9 AM and 7 PM and run Monday through Saturday; Sunday is not available at any address in Madison County. That means a Sunday event in Canastota has to be a Saturday delivery, and a Monday service has to be a Saturday one too.

Madison County is 655 square miles, compact by upstate standards, which helps, but a run that takes in Earlville in the south and Chittenango in the north is still most of a day. Order in the morning if the day matters. Wampsville, Canastota and Chittenango sit within a few miles of each other, which is why the seat being the smallest name on the list changes nothing about the run.

Six Towns and One Seat

Wampsville is the Madison County seat and the smallest of the six town pages under this one; Oneida is the largest. The others are Morrisville, Canastota and Chittenango, and their ZIP codes include 13421, 13032 and 13037.

Crouse Community Center in Morrisville is one of the named addresses on this page, and an order going to a residential care building wants a room or a wing rather than just the name. There are enough of those here that it is worth asking before you order rather than at the door. Oneida Health Hospital is the other named building, and a patient delivery there wants the room as well as the name.

Pick the Height, Not the Color

Flower types may be substituted for what a florist in the area actually has, so color is the first thing that moves. The type of arrangement does not: the size, the shape and the value of a Madison County order are what hold. In February the cooler holds what the season allows, and the substitute is chosen to sit as close to the ordered piece as it can.

A photo of the finished piece is sent once it is made, at no extra charge, and it is the only honest way to show a sender a long way from New York what the substitution looked like. Oneida County, NY lies east, and the rest of the state is at the New York county index.

An Anniversary at Earlville

An anniversary or a new baby is the easy end of this. Nobody is waiting on a room, the recipient is usually at home, and the only real question is whether the piece will be seen from a doorway or from a table. Ask whether the recipient is likely to be out, and give a porch or a side step as the fallback.

A workplace order in Oneida is the other case: small, low and stable, because someone has to carry it through a building and it has to sit on a desk for the afternoon. The range of arrangements is sorted by shape, which is the quickest way to tell the two apart.
