Lakewood, CO Flower Delivery, Hand-Carried

Work backward from your own watch. For same day flower delivery in Lakewood the line is 1 PM Mountain time, and at that moment Eastern clocks read 3 PM, Central clocks 2 PM and Pacific clocks noon. An order that arrives after it goes out on the next delivery day, which after a Saturday means Monday, because nothing is delivered on Sunday.

Flowers arrive between 9 AM and 7 PM, Monday through Saturday. A morning or afternoon can be asked for in the notes; the florist sees it as a wish, not a slot. Lakewood is also a city name in Ohio, Washington, New York, Illinois, South Carolina, Indiana and California, so the delivery page must show Colorado at checkout.

Lakewood and a second Jefferson address

Lakewood sits in Jefferson County, whose seat is Golden. The Jefferson County, CO page lists the county's towns we deliver to, from Arvada and Westminster to Evergreen and Golden itself, so a second order for a relative elsewhere in the county can follow straight after the first. Separate addresses need separate checkouts, and two gifts for one address carry a single delivery charge.

The city had 155,973 residents in 2020 across more than 43 square miles, with many ZIP codes, from 80214 and 80215 to 80227 and 80228. Flower deliveries here go to houses, apartment buildings, offices and campuses, so the street, the unit and the ZIP from the recipient's own mail are what count.

For a student at Colorado Christian University or Red Rocks Community College, send to where the student lives, with a room or apartment number, rather than to a classroom building where nobody may be able to accept the flowers. For an address in the next county, the Arapahoe County, CO page covers the towns there.

There is no counter to lean on when you want a flower shop in Lakewood from a thousand miles away, and none is needed: a florist in Lakewood or a neighboring town arranges the design by hand, and a photo of the finished arrangement is sent to you once it is made, at no extra charge.

Cambridge Care Center rooms in 80214

For a resident at Cambridge Care Center, in ZIP 80214, the order needs the resident's full name and the room number if you know it. Care-center rooms are small and often shared, so a compact vase or a small plant is kinder than a wide arrangement that crowds a nightstand.

Call ahead if you are unsure whether staff accept deliveries for residents. A plant is often welcome in long-term care, because it keeps going for weeks with very little attention. For a birthday you cannot attend, flowers with a warm card carry much of what a visit would. If family members visit on weekends, a Friday or Saturday delivery means they see the flowers too.

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement, so the design keeps the size you chose for a small room. For sympathy flowers to Lakewood, including for a resident's family, the funeral director's address comes from the service notice.

If the recipient is really in Applewood

A household on the edge of the city may say Lakewood while its mail reads a neighboring name. If the mail says Applewood, the Applewood, CO page is the right start; for Edgewater, use Edgewater, CO; for Wheat Ridge, Wheat Ridge, CO. The designs, sizes and hours are the same on each.

A ZIP code settles most questions in seconds, and a friend or relative of the recipient usually knows it offhand. With so many ZIPs inside the city, it is also the quickest way to confirm that an address really is inside the limits and not across a line. Lakewood CO orders with the right ZIP and unit arrive without a phone call.

Florists near Lakewood work with the same catalog on every one of these pages, so switching to a neighbor's page changes the town on the order and nothing about the flowers.

An anniversary dinner and a Lakewood doorstep

An anniversary is a good reason to order flowers. If the date falls on a Sunday, choose Saturday, when the day can still be marked together. A weekday anniversary with both partners at work may do better at an office than on a porch, since flowers delivered to an empty house sit outside for hours.

Colors from the wedding or the first home together say more than a stock red. For a couple who just moved, a plant can double as a housewarming gift. Write the card in your own words: the year, the place you met, the song from the first dance. Near Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Christmas and Easter the same-day cutoff can be earlier than usual, so an anniversary close to one of them is best ordered a day ahead.

To send flowers to Lakewood from out of state for an anniversary, start with the catalog. Flower delivery in Lakewood, CO follows the same cutoff for every occasion, Lakewood flower delivery to an office included, and the Colorado delivery page covers the rest of the state.
