Semmes, AL Flower Delivery From a Florist

House Numbers Across 36575 and 36613

Flower delivery in Semmes starts with the address, and here that means knowing which ZIP code the recipient uses. The town is covered by 36575 and 36613, and both appear on local mail. Ask the recipient or check a recent envelope, and write the code that is printed there. When someone has moved in the last year, confirm it again before you order flowers, since an old code points the florist to the wrong part of the area.

The town had 4,941 residents in 2020 across 8.3 square miles of land, so orders tend to go to houses on residential streets, with some headed for workplaces and schools. A house number, the street, and the right ZIP are what the florist needs, plus a unit number if the recipient lives in an apartment.

Orders placed before 1 PM Central time reach the recipient the same business day, between 9 AM and 7 PM, Monday through Saturday. Sunday delivery is not available, so an order placed on Saturday after that hour goes out Monday.

Semmes Between Prichard and Saraland

People looking for a florist in Semmes are often sending to a neighboring town without realizing it. If the recipient's mail reads Prichard, AL, Saraland, AL or Chickasaw, AL, order from that listing instead so the town name and ZIP match.

The arrangement itself does not change; the same kind of florist makes it, and the same Alabama cutoff applies to all of these towns. Typing Semmes AL into a search bar, with the state letters, is the quickest way to land on this page rather than a neighbor's. What changes is the address, and a town name that matches the mail is one less question at the door.

A recipient just over the county line in the other direction may be on the Baldwin County, AL page, and one across the state line on the Mississippi side belongs on a Mississippi page, where the time zone is the same Central clock.

Mobile Is the Seat, Not the Address

Semmes is one of fifteen towns covered on the Mobile County, AL page, a county of 412,339 people. The city of Mobile holds the county seat, and that is where the courthouse and many offices sit. Senders sometimes type Mobile as the town because it is the name they know; if the recipient's home is here, write that name instead, and the florist will not go looking for them in the city.

If the recipient works in Mobile but lives here, decide which address to use based on who will be there. Flowers delivered to a workplace should arrive on a weekday; flowers delivered to a house can go on Saturday too.

Funeral flowers in Semmes are addressed to the chapel or funeral home holding the service, by its name, with the service time and the family name in the notes. The card is addressed to the family, not to the person who died.

The county covers 1,229 square miles, so an address that is only described as near Mobile can sit a long way from this town. The street number and ZIP settle it, and a sender who has both can skip the guessing.

Signing Off So Semmes Knows It Is You

The card is printed on a small slip tucked into the arrangement, so keep it to a few lines. Sign with your first and last name, or with the relationship, "your college roommate Jen", so the recipient does not have to guess. A group gift is clearer with two or three names than with "all of us".

If the flowers are for a birthday, an anniversary or a new job, say so on the card. If they are a surprise, put that in the delivery notes, which the recipient never sees. A birthday card going to Semmes can be as short as "Happy 70th, Dad, from all four of us", which tells the recipient both the reason and the senders at a glance. A florist near Semmes works from what you write, and a clear card saves the recipient a round of phone calls to find out who sent it.

Long messages get trimmed to fit the card, so if there is more to say, save it for a letter. Two or three lines, a name, and the reason for the flowers are enough.

A Reception Desk Instead of a Porch

Most flower deliveries to a workplace end at a front desk. The order needs the business name, the department or desk, and the recipient's full name. Many offices have one person at the front who signs for deliveries and then carries them back; the more detail on the order, the faster that goes.

Check the hours before you order. Flowers delivered to an office that is closed on Saturday will wait for Monday. For same day flower delivery in Semmes, place the order before 1 PM Central time; on the East Coast that is 2 PM, in the Mountain zone noon, on the Pacific coast 11 AM.

If you want to send flowers to Semmes for a work celebration, browse the catalog of designs; each one is shown at more than one size. Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement. A photo of the finished piece is sent once it is made, at no extra charge. Anyone looking for a flower shop in Semmes will not find a storefront of ours; a local florist makes the design, and Semmes, AL flower delivery for the rest of Alabama works the same way.
