Send Flowers to Stevens County, WA

An Anniversary in Kettle Falls

An anniversary order goes to a house, and a house in Kettle Falls is best reached late in the window when somebody is back from work. A thank you order to a business at the seat is the opposite and belongs in the morning, while the door is open and there is a person to sign for it.

Say which of the two it is in the delivery note. Across 2,477 square miles a second attempt is not a quick thing to arrange, and one line on the order is what avoids it.

Birthday and new baby orders follow the house pattern. In Stevens County that means the evening half of the window and a phone number attached, because a porch in January is no place to leave anything.

Five Towns and a Long Valley

Colville is the seat and the largest of the five, with Chewelah south of it on the highway, Kettle Falls north on the river and Loon Lake and Suncrest down at the southern end. Each keeps a page of its own beneath this one.

Stevens County runs 2,477 square miles for 49,015 people, so an order for 99141 at the top and one for 99026 at the bottom are two different runs on the same day. Neither florist passes the other on the way.

Colville is where most of the named Stevens County institutions sit, which makes it the easiest address in the valley to reach and the one that fills first on a Saturday.

Sympathy Flowers for Colville Families

A standing piece belongs at the place the service is held, and something smaller belongs at the family house in the days afterwards. Buena Vista Healthcare and Colville Health and Rehabilitation of Cascadia both take arrangements for residents, and a compact one fits the shelf beside a bed where a large one would not.

Flower types may be substituted for what the local florist has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement. In a Stevens County winter that is the rule that keeps an order from being refused outright.

A Sunday service in the valley has to be covered by a Saturday arrival. That is the one piece of planning worth doing early here, because Saturday is also the busiest of the six days on this side of Washington.

Hospital Addresses in Chewelah

Patients at Providence St Joseph Hospital are on 99109, and Providence Mount Carmel Hospital covers the seat on 99114. Both want a ward and a patient name on the order rather than a room number taken down at admission, since the room often changes during a stay.

Order before 1 PM Pacific time for same-day flower delivery to any of the five Stevens County ZIP codes. Flower delivery runs Monday through Saturday and Sunday delivery is not available, with stops in Colville and Chewelah between 9 AM and 7 PM. Once the arrangement is finished, a photo of it is sent at no extra charge, including at a Kettle Falls address an hour from the seat.

Spokane County, WA lies south of the county line and Lincoln County, WA south west of it. The rest of the state is indexed on the Washington county page, and the designs themselves are in the catalog.
