Skagit County, WA Flower Delivery

Funeral Flowers in Sedro-Woolley

Lemley Funeral Chapel takes standing pieces in Sedro-Woolley, and those belong at the chapel ahead of the service rather than at a house on the day. The family name and the date on the order are what keep two services in the same week apart.

Something smaller for the home is the better second order, and it lands best a few days later. Life Care Center of Skagit Valley takes arrangements for residents on 98284, where a compact piece fits a shelf and a tall one does not.

A Sunday service at the seat has to be covered by a Saturday arrival, because nothing runs on a Sunday anywhere in the county. In practice that moves the order forward two days rather than one, since Saturday fills early.

Eleven Towns from Bow to Concrete

The valley towns and the island towns are not one delivery run. Anacortes is reached over the bridges, Concrete is a long way up the river road, and 1,730 square miles of Skagit County sits between them. Each of the 11 towns keeps its own page under this one.

Mount Vernon is the county seat and the middle of the whole thing, with Burlington next to it and La Conner out on the flats. An order for 98221 and an order for 98237 are worked by different florists on the same afternoon.

Alger, Big Lake and Bay View are the smaller names on the list, and none of them is more than a short run from one of the three larger towns. That is unusual for a county of this size and it is why Skagit County addresses are rarely a problem to reach.

Hospital Addresses in Mount Vernon

Skagit Valley Hospital takes flowers for patients on 98273, and Island Hospital does the same in Anacortes. Both want a ward and a patient name on the order, since a room number given at admission is rarely the room the patient is in three days later.

Order before 1 PM Pacific time for same-day flower delivery to any of the nine Skagit County ZIP codes. Flower delivery runs Monday through Saturday and Sunday delivery is not available, with stops in Anacortes and up the river landing between 9 AM and 7 PM.

Mira Vista Care Center and Soundview Rehabilitation and Health Care take the same kind of order for residents rather than patients. A compact arrangement and a room number are the two things that make either of them a single stop.

A New Baby in Burlington

A new baby order goes to a house where the door is answered reluctantly, so the early half of the window is the kinder choice. A birthday order to a house is better late, once somebody is home from work to take it in.

Flower types may be substituted for what the local florist has on hand, without changing the size, shape or value of what was ordered for a Mount Vernon address, and a photo of the finished arrangement is sent at no extra charge.

Whatcom County, WA lies north of the line and Snohomish County, WA to the south. The rest of Washington is on the Washington county index, and the designs themselves are in the catalog.
