Accomack County, VA Flower Delivery

Birthdays at Parksley and Bloxom

A birthday order wants a delivery date, not a delivery week. Put the date on the order and place it the working day before, because the ten ZIP codes on this page stretch a long way and a late slot at 23336 is not the same as one at 23414.

Deliveries land between 9 AM and 7 PM, which for a workplace in Parksley or Bloxom is wide enough that somebody should be named as the person who takes it in.

Flower delivery runs Monday through Saturday across Accomack County, and Sunday delivery is not available. A Sunday birthday at Onley is met by a Saturday arrival, which is worth saying out loud when the date is fixed.

Orders that name Accomack County, VA rather than a bare town name reach the right florist sooner, because several of the eleven towns here are small enough to share a route with a neighbor.

Choose a Size for Chincoteague

A compact piece travels better down a narrow lane than a tall one, and Chincoteague has more of those than most of the eleven towns here. Height is the decision that goes wrong first.

The arrangements page shows each design at the size it is sent, so a rental cottage and a family kitchen do not end up with the same piece by accident.

A photo of the finished arrangement is sent once the florist has made it, at no extra charge, and for a sender who has never crossed the bay it is worth more than the product name.

A Funeral at Onancock or Accomac

Smith and Scott Funeral Home at the seat takes standing pieces during the working day, and Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital at Onancock takes ward flowers at a main desk rather than at a room door.

Shore Health and Rehab Center sits in Parksley, and a room number on the order saves the staff a walk. Accomack County holds 33,411 people over 449 square miles, so those three names cover most of its institutional addresses.

Three days from the delivery is the window for raising anything that looks wrong, and the run from Wattsville at the top of the page down to Onley is why it is worth knowing before ordering.

An order placed before 1 PM Eastern time reaches all of them the same business day. Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Christmas and Easter can each pull that hour earlier than usual.

Addresses on the Eastern Shore

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist serving the ten Accomack ZIP codes has available, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement. On a peninsula this narrow that is a practical rule rather than a legal one.

The ten Accomack ZIP codes run from 23301 at the seat out to 23421 at Parksley, and a house number with no road name is common here. Give them one landmark as well if the address is rural.

Flower delivery across Accomack County keeps the same hours as the rest of Virginia, and the 9 AM to 7 PM window holds at Gargatha and Nelsonia exactly as it does at the seat.

Every county in the state is listed at Virginia county flower delivery. Northampton County, VA continues south down the peninsula, and Worcester County, MD lies north across the line.
