Franklin County, OH Flower Delivery

Sympathy Deliveries at Columbus Hospitals

Franklin County holds more named hospitals and care homes than any other county in Ohio, and a sympathy or get well order here almost always goes to an institution rather than a house. Riverside Methodist Hospital, Grant Medical Center and Nationwide Children's Hospital each take flowers at a desk and carry them up.

That means the room or ward number does the work the street address cannot. A large campus has several entrances, and a piece left at the wrong one is a piece that reaches the patient a day late or not at all.

Funeral work is timed to the service. Schoedinger and Edwards Funeral Service both set an hour for deliveries, and a standing spray belongs at that address rather than at the family house where nobody is until the evening.

Picking a Shape for Small Wards

A tall vase piece is the wrong answer for a bedside table on a shared ward. Anything above about a foot gets moved to a sill, and a low compact arrangement in a container that holds its own water is the one that stays where it was put.

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has that morning, with no change to the size, shape or value of a Franklin County arrangement. A photo of the finished arrangement is sent to whoever placed the order, which for a Franklin County address is very often somebody in another state entirely.

The shapes themselves, with the size given for each, are what this part of Ohio orders from, and they are set out under arrangements. Picking the shape before the stems is the part that decides whether the piece works in the room it lands in.

Same Day Orders Across Columbus

An order for a Franklin County address placed before 1 PM Eastern time is worked the same business day. On 532 square miles holding over 1.3 million people the traffic matters more than the distance, and an early order is the only real protection against an afternoon that runs long.

Flower deliveries across all 25 Franklin County towns run Monday through Saturday, Sunday delivery is not available, and arrivals fall between 9 AM and 7 PM. A birthday on a Sunday is covered by a Saturday drop, and a workplace piece has to go on a weekday or wait.

Anything that looks wrong has three days from the drop to be raised, and a replacement or a refund is how it gets settled on an address in 43215 the same as anywhere else.

Nearby Towns This Page Collects

Rather than list all twenty five, the useful ones to start from are Columbus itself, Dublin at the north west, Westerville at the north east and Hilliard on the western side. Each holds its own codes and its own named places.

Sixty three codes sit under the county, from 43002 out at the edge to 43287 in the middle of the seat, and no single page can do them justice. The town listing is the level where that detail is actually usable, and it is where a street and a code get matched to each other.

An address in Columbus, OH is not one delivery problem but several. A downtown tower, a hospital campus and a house in a residential township all sit inside the same seat, and the kind of building decides more about the order than the county line does.

The town of Franklin, OH is a different place with its own separate page, and it is not one of the towns Franklin County collects. From here, Delaware County, OH lies along the northern line, and the full set is on the Ohio delivery index.
