Delaware County, OH Flowers by Hand

A New Baby in Powell or Galena

A new baby order is the one that most often gets sent to the wrong place. The maternity piece is really for the family home, and it wants a vase it can live in for a week; a ward arrangement gets carried out to a car within a day or two of arriving. Grady Memorial Hospital sits at the seat in the 43015 ZIP if the ward is genuinely the right answer.

Powell in 43065 and Galena in 43021 are the newer, denser parts of the county, and there the practical detail is the subdivision entrance rather than the street. A gate code or a building letter in the notes is worth more than a note about the color of the door. Delaware County has grown fast enough that a street may be newer than the map a stranger is reading.

Sympathy Flowers Around Ashley and Ostrander

There is no funeral home in the verified list here, so a sympathy order is written against the venue the family has named. That is the honest position: put the place and the hour of the service in the notes and the florist works to that rather than guessing at a chapel.

Ashley and Ostrander sit at the northern and western edges respectively, and both are far enough from the seat that an order for a service there wants to be placed the day before. Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand at Ashley or over at Ostrander, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement. Cherith Care Center at Willow Brook and Country Club Center V are two more addresses here where a wing name belongs on the order.

The 1 PM Line at Sunbury

Orders placed before 1 PM Eastern time reach the recipient the same business day, and with 237,966 people spread over 443 square miles there is enough volume here that the line is genuinely binding rather than nominal. Country View of Sunbury sits in the 43074 ZIP and is one of the addresses where an early order shows.

Flower deliveries run Monday through Saturday to all six towns of Delaware County, Sunday delivery is not available, and arrivals fall between 9 AM and 7 PM. Arbors at Delaware, Delaware Court Health Care Center and Ohio Living Sarah Moore all sit at the seat and each wants a room number on the order. This is central Ohio, and the northern edge of a large metropolitan area, so the traffic rather than the distance is what sets the pace of a run.

Six Towns and One Seat

Powell, Sunbury, Galena, Ashley and Ostrander keep pages of their own beneath this one. So does the seat, and that is a separate city page covering the town itself rather than this Delaware County index for the whole area.

Union County, OH lies to the west and Licking County, OH to the south east, with the rest of the state collected at the Ohio county listing. Once the arrangement is finished, a photo of it goes to the sender at no extra charge, and the catalog shows each design at the size ordered.
