SeaTac, WA Flower Delivery, Hand-Delivered

Flower delivery in SeaTac, WA covers a city of 31,437 people, counted in 2020, over about ten square miles, and the orders go to houses, apartments and offices. Six ZIPs share the city: 98158, 98148, 98198, 98168, 98188 and 98131. It sits in King County, WA, with Seattle as the seat.

Same day flower delivery in SeaTac works when the order is placed before 1 PM Pacific time; it can then arrive that business day, between 9 AM and 7 PM. Deliveries run Monday through Saturday, and Sunday delivery is not available anywhere in Washington. The Washington delivery page covers the rest of the state, and SeaTac flower delivery keeps the same rules as every other place on it.

SeaTac addresses: six ZIPs, one city

Six ZIPs inside one city is unusual and a common source of mistakes: two streets with the same name can fall under different codes. Read the ZIP off the recipient's mail, and put it on the order so the flowers are built by a florist near the right door.

With 31,437 people on ten square miles, the city sends flower orders to apartments and offices as well as houses. For a multi-unit building add the unit, the entrance and the floor; for an office, name the company and a person at reception. Order flowers for a business with the reception desk in mind, since flowers delivered after hours have nobody to receive them.

A florist in SeaTac or one close by will see the address and the notes together, and a note about a buzzer or a gate code is read as a request. A SeaTac florist cannot promise a specific hour, though a wish for one can be added, and a birthday card with a name on it helps the front desk hand the bouquet to the right person.

Delivery in SeaTac, not at the county seat

King County, WA has Seattle as its seat, which is the name many senders type first. A bouquet for a SeaTac address does not stop at the seat; it goes to the street named on the order, and the county page shows how many other places have pages of their own.

A sender with relatives in Pierce County, WA has a different set of pages to use, and the page for that county is the starting point for those orders. Each county page lists its places with their own delivery pages.

Orders for a recipient who says Burien

People name the bigger place nearby when they give directions. A recipient who says Burien, WA, Tukwila, WA or Des Moines, WA could have a SeaTac WA mailing address, and the reverse happens as well, so the ZIP on a letter decides the page.

Normandy Park, WA has a page too. Order from the page that matches the ZIP, because flowers are arranged by a florist near the address on the order, and a sender who picks the right page avoids a second order. Order flowers once, from the right place, and flowers delivered to the correct ZIP need no redirecting.

Same size, same shape, different stem

What the local florist has in stock sets the flower types, so one stem can stand in for another. Size, shape and value of the arrangement stay where they were ordered. Reading this before paying tells a sender what to expect.

A bouquet of mixed stems shows a swap most clearly, while a vase of one flower type shows it least. If a particular flower matters for a SeaTac birthday or an anniversary, write it in the notes as a preference; it cannot be a promise.

Checking the SeaTac arrangement by photo

Once the florist finishes the arrangement, a photo of it is sent to the sender at no extra charge. It shows the real piece, not a catalog picture, and it can be forwarded to the recipient so the delivery is expected rather than a surprise.

For a busy household or an office, the photo helps the recipient know what to look for at the door. It also lets the sender confirm that the card and the colors look right before the bouquet goes out.

A plant for a desk, stems for a table

Stems cut for a vase fade within the week and flower deliveries of potted plants last longer, while a potted plant can stay on an office desk or an apartment windowsill for a long time. The catalog of designs shows both, and the choice often depends on how much care the recipient will give.

Anyone hunting for a flower shop in SeaTac will find no counter to pick up from; the order goes online and a florist builds the piece by hand. To send flowers to SeaTac for a funeral, put the service address and hour in the notes, and funeral flowers in SeaTac need the same cutoff as any other order.
