Marietta, OH Flower Delivery for Homes and Hospitals

Marietta is the county seat of Washington County, OH, and its ZIP is 45750. Flower delivery in Marietta, OH reaches hospital rooms, care homes, a college and ordinary houses, and the sections below take them in turn.

Flowers for a patient at Marietta Memorial Hospital

The hospital shares ZIP 45750 with every other address in the city. For flowers there, the order needs the patient's full name and a room number if the family has it, because a hospital cannot hand over flowers without knowing where to take them.

Selby General Hospital is in the same ZIP, so a sender who half remembers the name should confirm which hospital the patient is in before paying. Each has its own rules about what is welcome on a ward, and a quick call to the unit settles it.

Several care homes sit in the city too, among them Harmar Place Rehab and Extended Care and Waterview Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation. Flowers delivered to a resident follow the same pattern: full name, room if known, and a card that says who sent them.

Short arrangements tend to sit more safely on a nightstand than tall ones.

Hospital rules differ by unit. An intensive care ward, a maternity floor and a rehabilitation wing may each allow something different, so a sender is better off asking at the nurses' station before ordering. A time can be requested in the order notes, but a specific hour cannot be promised, which makes a day when the patient is likely to be in the room the safer choice. Deliveries to these addresses run between 9 AM and 7 PM, Monday through Saturday, and Sunday delivery is not available.

Washington County seat: courthouse offices and the pages around it

Marietta is the seat of Washington County, OH, so orders here include offices and government buildings next to houses. A recipient at a county office needs a department and a contact name, and the order should be placed for a weekday.

Orders in the city go to 13,384 people (2020 count) on 8.429 square miles, which means apartments and offices as well as detached houses. An order should carry whatever identifies the door: a unit, a floor or a company name.

A recipient who gives Belpre, OH or Devola, OH should be ordered for from that town's page, and the same goes for Reno, OH. Over the state line, Wood County, WV in West Virginia has its own page as well.

Same day flower delivery in Marietta needs the order in before 1 PM Eastern time. Anything placed later is picked up when deliveries next run.

A retirement or a promotion in a county building calls for a desk-sized piece with a card signed by the whole office, and the department name belongs on the order.

A college address in Marietta is not a home address

Washington State College of Ohio is in the city, and flowers for a student or staff member need a building and a department, not just the school name. A graduation arrangement is best sent to the person's home when the date is known, since a campus can limit what arrives.

A florist in Marietta makes the piece, and the sender receives a photo of the finished arrangement. Graduations, a new job and a thank you to a teacher are the college orders that come up most, and a sender who wants to order flowers for a graduate should check the ceremony date first.

Send the order for a weekday if the recipient works on campus, because an office may not be staffed on Saturday. Funeral flowers in Marietta are addressed differently: Crawley and Peoples Funeral Home is in the city, and an order there needs the name of the person who died and the hour of the service.

The stem that may change and the arrangement that does not

Flower types may be substituted based on what the local florist has on hand. The kind of arrangement does not change: it is never made smaller, never reshaped and never worth less than the one ordered, and the florist keeps it as close to the original as the stems allow. The catalog shows each design in several sizes, and the size chosen is the size that arrives, whatever stems fill it.

The name also exists in Pennsylvania, Georgia and Oklahoma, so a sender who searches for flower delivery Marietta can land on the wrong state's page. Before paying, check that the order reads Marietta OH with ZIP 45750.

If the recipient's address carries a different ZIP or state, the order belongs on a different page. To send flowers to Marietta, Ohio for a birthday or a thank you, the same check applies.

A finished photo, and a check that it is the right city

Flower deliveries are made by hand, and once the florist finishes, a photo of the arrangement goes to the sender at no extra charge. It is the quickest way to see what was made and to confirm it went to the right city.

Anyone who types flower shop in Marietta into a search bar is looking for a shop door, and the order here goes to a local florist instead. A florist in Marietta builds the piece, and a person brings it to the recipient.

To compare designs before ordering, the catalog pages show each arrangement by size. A thank you to a nurse or a get well note to a neighbor fits a small vase, while a larger piece suits a lobby or a long table. For recipients in other towns, the Ohio delivery page is the place to start.
