Same Day Bayou La Batre, AL Flower Delivery

Mobile the city, Mobile the county

Most people ordering for someone here live somewhere else, and the first thing they need is the clock. Deliveries follow Central time, and an order placed before 1 PM Central time can reach the recipient that same business day. Someone ordering on Eastern time has an hour more on their own watch, so 2 PM there; someone on Mountain time has noon, and anyone keeping Pacific time gets 11 AM.

The second thing is the name Mobile, which means two places. The city of Mobile, AL is the county seat and has its own page. Mobile County as a whole has 412,339 residents living on 1,229 square miles. Its towns are listed on the Mobile County, AL page.

So a relative who says they live "in Mobile" may mean the city or anywhere in the county. Their mail tells you which. Over the state line, Jackson County, MS has its own page for a recipient on the Mississippi side.

Addresses across Bayou La Batre

In 2020 the town counted 2,204 residents, and most orders on its 7.6 square miles go to houses, along with apartments, churches, clinics and small workplaces. A house needs the number and road, an apartment the unit, and a workplace the business name and department.

For a clinic or an office, the name of the practice or business matters as much as the person's name, because a receptionist signs for the flowers delivered there.

Two ZIP codes appear on local mail, 36544 and 36509. Use the one the recipient uses, and the town name paired with it on their envelopes. A mismatch between town and ZIP is the one address problem worth a phone call before you pay.

Same day flower delivery in Bayou La Batre runs Monday through Saturday, between 9 AM and 7 PM, and none go out on Sunday. If a particular hour suits the family, mention it; it is treated as a wish rather than a promise.

People looking for a flower shop in Bayou La Batre, or typing florist Bayou La Batre AL, want flowers at a door, and there is no counter here to stand at. A florist near Bayou La Batre makes the order from the arrangement catalog and brings it.

Grand Bay, Theodore and Belle Fontaine next door

The closest neighbors that have a page here are Grand Bay, AL, Theodore, AL and Belle Fontaine, AL. Families here often have relatives in one or more of them, and it is easy to mix up which town belongs on the order.

Many people who live here work or shop in Grand Bay or Theodore. A flower delivery in Bayou La Batre for someone who is at work in Theodore all day may be better sent to the workplace, on that town's page, with the business name.

One arrangement per address keeps it simple. If you want flowers at two houses, place two orders and write a card for each; the delivery charge applies to each address once.

Services for local families may be held in any of these towns, so funeral flowers in Bayou La Batre are addressed to the funeral home named in the notice, with the visitation hour, not to the family's street.

Sunday birthdays, moved to Saturday

Birthdays keep their date, but there are no deliveries on Sunday. For a Sunday birthday, choose Saturday and let the flowers stand for a day before the celebration, or choose Monday and let them stretch it out.

Saturday orders follow the same timing as weekdays. Flowers sent on Saturday for a Sunday birthday have a full day in the house before the celebration, so pick a design that holds up well, such as roses, carnations and sturdy greens.

For a sender in another state, the simplest route is to order a few days ahead and pick Saturday as the delivery date. Around Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Christmas and Easter the same-day cutoff can come earlier than 1 PM Central time, which is one more reason to plan.

Write the card as if you were there: a short wish and your full name. A birthday in Bayou La Batre shared from far away is still read in the recipient's kitchen.

A new baby in Bayou La Batre

Parents with a newborn may be at the hospital for a day or two, and then home and short on sleep. Ask a relative when they will be back and settled, and time the order for the first calm day after that.

A new baby here also brings relatives from out of state who want to send something. One larger arrangement from all of you, with every name on the card, is easier on a small house than five separate deliveries.

Choose something that needs little care, with light scents: a small vase design, a potted plant, or a basket. Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, but the size, shape and value of the arrangement stay as ordered.

Once it is made, a photo of the finished arrangement is sent to you at no extra charge, so you can see what the family received.
