Wyoming County, WV Flowers Across Six Towns

Seasonal Stems for Mullens and Oceana

The order for a Mullens address goes to the florist nearest it, who reads it the same hour and starts from what is in the cooler. Flower types may be substituted for what that florist has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement, and in a county of 19,964 people the cooler is smaller than it would be in a city.

Seasonal swaps run one way in Wyoming County: a stem that is out of season becomes a stem of the same color and size, never a smaller piece. A card that says pink rather than naming a variety gives the florist near Oceana room to keep the look without a phone call.

Once the florist has made it, a photo of the finished arrangement reaches the sender at no extra charge, and for a 24870 order placed from the west coast that photo is the only look at what stood on the porch. Three days is the window to raise anything that arrived wrong at a Wyoming County door, and the photo is what the complaint gets measured against.

Nine ZIP Codes Under Pineville

Pineville is the seat, and the nine ZIP codes fan out from it, 24716 at the low end and 25928 at the high, and the six town pages sit between those two numbers. Naming the code on a West Virginia mountain order matters more than the street, because house numbers thin out fast past the last store.

This page lists no hospital and no funeral home of its own for Wyoming County, so most flower delivery here goes to a house or a church hall rather than a ward desk. That makes the phone number on the order the single most useful line: a Corinne porch with nobody home gets a call, not a bouquet left in the rain.

Corinne, Kopperston and Bud each keep a page of their own under this one, three of the six lines that make up Wyoming County. Apartments are rare in WV coal country, and a unit number still helps on the few that exist.

The 1 PM Hour at Mullens

Order before 1 PM Eastern time and same-day flower delivery reaches a Mullens or Oceana address that afternoon, while an order keyed at two moves to the next working day. From the west coast that hour is 10 in the morning, which is the detail senders three zones away get wrong most often.

Flower delivery runs Monday through Saturday across all nine Wyoming County ZIP codes, Sunday delivery is not available at any of them, and arrivals land between 9 AM and 7 PM. A Sunday service at Oceana therefore gets its flowers on the Saturday in front of it.

Pages for Raleigh County, WV begin to the east and Mingo County, WV takes over to the west. Both keep the same 1 PM Eastern hour as the nine Wyoming County codes; only the towns beneath them differ.

Choose a Shape for a Corinne Porch

A porch in Corinne or a kitchen in Matheny takes a taller vase than a hospital tray ever would, so on this page height is rarely the wrong call. The catalog shows every Wyoming County design at the size it is sold in, and a middle size fills a mountain kitchen table without crowding it.

Wyoming County is one line on the West Virginia county index, and Matheny is one of six town lines under it. Between them the two pages and the ZIP code cover everything a sender in another state needs to know about a WV delivery on 24857.
