Four Towns Under Wayne

Four town pages sit beneath this listing, and they are not evenly spread across the 506 square miles. Kenova at 25530 and Ceredo at 25507 are minutes apart at the northern tip.

The town of Wayne itself has its own Wayne, WV page, separate from this county listing, so an order meant for 25570 belongs there rather than here. Lavalette at 25535 sits between the two ends.

Of the 37,589 people counted here, most live in that northern quarter. The southern half is long, thin and slow to drive, so a complete street address does more work on this page than a town name on its own ever will.

Pick a Shape for Lavalette

Pick for the room, not for the listing photo. A Lavalette house tends to have one good surface near the front door, and a piece wider than it is tall lives there all week without anything else being shifted to make space.

Tall shapes earn their place in a hall with a table under them, or at a service with a stand waiting. The catalog prints each design at the size it actually ships in, which settles the desk piece against the floor piece before anyone is standing on a porch holding it.

Color is worth deciding after height rather than before it. A 25704 address at the edge of Wayne County is usually a house, and a house takes a different shape from the reception counter an office order would want.

A Funeral Notice at Ceredo

The hour printed on a Ceredo notice sets the delivery hour, not the other way round. Standing pieces belong at the hall named on it, while the softer arrangement belongs at the family address, which in these four towns is often only a few streets away.

Wayne Healthcare Center at 25570 is the one named residential address in the brief for this page, and flowers for a resident there need the resident name written out. Substitution applies to the stems only, never to the size, shape or value ordered.

Ask the family which of the two addresses they want used before sending to both. Flowers waiting at an empty house on the morning of a service go unseen until evening, which is a poor return on a well chosen piece.

A Thank You at Kenova

Order before 1 PM Eastern time for same-day flower delivery to any of the five ZIP codes in Wayne County, and an order placed after that hour moves to the next working day.

Flower delivery runs Monday through Saturday across all four Wayne County towns, Sunday delivery is not available, and arrivals fall between 9 AM and 7 PM. A photo of the finished arrangement reaches the sender afterward at no extra charge.

West Virginia keeps going past the county line: the road runs north into Cabell County, WV, and south into Mingo County, WV. Both are listed on the West Virginia county index.
