Nicholas County, WV Flower Delivery

Get Well Orders at Richwood

Get well flowers are the Nicholas County order most often sent to the wrong address. A home address at Richwood in 26261 holds a piece for a week, while a hospital room can empty the same afternoon the flowers reach it.

A birthday runs the other way round and tolerates a wider window. In Nicholas County most birthday orders go to houses, and the later hours of the day catch people back from work rather than out at it.

Order before 1 PM Eastern time for same-day flower delivery to any of the four Nicholas County ZIP codes. Deliveries run Monday through Saturday, Sunday delivery is not available at Summersville or Craigsville, and arrivals fall between 9 AM and 7 PM.

The Hospital Desk at Summersville

Summersville Regional Medical Center takes flowers at a desk rather than at a bedside, so the patient name on the order is what makes it arrive. Summersville Healthcare Center works the same way, and residents there move rooms with no warning given.

An address anywhere else in Nicholas County needs its road name as well as a number. Four ZIP codes stretch across 647 square miles of West Virginia, so the code alone puts a driver in the right half of the county and no nearer.

Offices empty before the end of the window and houses fill up toward it, so naming which kind of address it is changes the whole plan for the day. That single line is worth more than any instruction about the stems.

Substituted Stems for a Craigsville Order

Flower types may be substituted for what a florist near Tioga has in the cooler that morning, with no change to the size, shape or value of the Nicholas County order. The design is kept as near the ordered one as the day's stems allow.

Seasonal limits are the plain reason for it. A stem that is easy in June at 26651 is not there in January, and the substitute is picked to match the shape and the weight of the original rather than to fill the vase out.

Once the arrangement is finished, a photo of it goes back to whoever placed the Nicholas County order, at no extra charge. Over 647 square miles that is a faster confirmation than a phone call to a WV florist would ever be.

The catalog gives the height and the width beside every design, which is the check worth making here. A second attempt across this much ground is not something that happens on the same afternoon.

A Memorial Service at Tioga

A memorial service at Tioga is timed from the notice rather than from the order, and the hall named there is the address to use. No funeral home is listed for Nicholas County on this page, so the notice is doing more work than usual.

Standing work belongs at the service and the softer piece belongs at the family house. Sending both to one address is the mistake that gets made most, and the two are rarely within sight of each other in a county this wide.

Fayette County, WV lies to the south and Kanawha County, WV to the west, with Greenbrier County, WV along the eastern edge. The West Virginia county index carries the rest, and flower delivery works the same way on every one of them.
