Russell County, VA Flowers Delivered

Hospital Rooms and Home Addresses

Russell County Hospital and Maple Grove Nursing and Rehab Center both sit in Lebanon on 24266, and both take flowers at a desk rather than at a bed. A patient name written out in full is the part that matters; the room number on the order is frequently out of date by the time anything arrives, because patients move wards and nobody thinks to say so.

A house address out at Dante or Honaker is a different problem. The hollows here run narrow and the numbers are not always on the mailbox, so a note about which side of the road or which turning saves a call that may not connect. Five ZIP codes cover the whole of Russell County, and 24224 and 24272 sit a long way apart on the map.

A Birthday Order for Honaker

A birthday wants the morning half of the window rather than the tail of it, which in practice means the order goes in the day before or early on the day itself. There is nothing to be gained by waiting, and about 25,420 people live here, so the florist covering one end of the county is covering the other end too. Russell County is not a place where two orders on the same morning go to two different parts of a city, which makes the timing simpler than it looks.

Order before 1 PM Eastern time and same day flower delivery reaches Lebanon, Honaker or Castlewood that afternoon. Flower delivery runs Monday through Saturday in this corner of Virginia, Sunday delivery is not available, and arrivals land between 9 AM and 7 PM.

Seasonal Swaps, Unchanged Size

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement, and at this altitude above Lebanon the season is short at both ends, and for an order into 24260 between November and March the swap is the usual case rather than a rare one.

What holds is the piece itself. The height, the shape and the value are what were bought, and only the stems inside them move. Once the arrangement is finished, a photo of it is sent to the sender at no extra charge, which settles the question for anyone ordering into Russell County from out of state.

Funeral Flowers in Lebanon and Castlewood

Owens Funeral Services is in Lebanon and Castlewood Funeral Home is in the town it is named for, so the town on the order is what tells them apart. A standing spray belongs at the home holding the service and needs to be there before the family is, not during. Russell County is small enough that the service and the house afterwards are usually a few minutes apart, so a second arrangement for the second address is a normal request rather than an awkward one.

Something low is the better choice for the house afterwards, since it can be put down once and left. Tazewell County, VA lies north across the ridge while Wise County, VA sits to the west, and the full range of designs carries a height against each piece so a side table order arrives at side table size. Every VA county listing in the state is collected at flower delivery by Virginia county.
