Summit County, OH Flower Delivery

Twenty Seven Towns, One Index

Summit County holds about 538,370 people inside 413 square miles, which is the tightest population per square mile in this part of Ohio. There are 49 ZIP codes here. A list of them would tell a reader nothing, so this page names the places that carry the orders instead.

Akron is the seat and takes most of the volume, beginning at 44301 and running through the 443 range. Cuyahoga Falls holds 44221 immediately north of it.

Barberton takes 44203 to the southwest and Hudson takes 44236 at the northeastern corner of Summit County, OH. Stow, Tallmadge, Twinsburg, Norton and the rest each keep a page of their own beneath this one.

Same Day Orders Into Barberton

Orders placed before 1 PM Eastern time reach a Barberton or Akron address the same business day. Summit County runs on Eastern time, and because the county is only 413 square miles across, the hour behaves the same at every one of its 49 ZIP codes.

Flower delivery runs Monday through Saturday at all 49 Summit County, OH ZIP codes, Sunday delivery is not available, and the flowers arrive between 9 AM and 7 PM. A Saturday afternoon order for Hudson is therefore a Monday delivery, not a Sunday one.

Density cuts both ways. A short drive between two Akron addresses does not mean two orders arrive close together, because the run is built around the whole of this Ohio county rather than around one neighborhood.

A New Baby Sent Home

Akron Children's Hospital and Akron General Medical Center are the two addresses in Summit County that take the most first-week flowers, and both want a room number on the order. A maternity floor moves people between rooms faster than a florist can guess.

Something low and unscented travels better into a hospital room than something tall. Sent to the house a week later instead, the same order can be twice the height and nobody minds.

The catalog at the full arrangement range is sorted by occasion, so a first birthday and a new baby are two different shelves rather than two labels on one.

Apartment Addresses and Office Desks

Akron has more apartment addresses than any other place in Summit County, and an apartment number left off an order is the single most common reason a delivery goes back on the van it came in on. Write the unit, the building and a number the recipient answers.

An office in Fairlawn or Stow wants the business name above the street, because a suite in a shared building is not findable from a street number alone. Summa Health System in Akron has several entrances, and naming the one you mean saves a walk.

Ohio Living Rockynol and Heather Knoll Retirement Village in Tallmadge both take flowers at reception, which is a different problem again: the arrangement arrives, and then it needs a unit to travel to.

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with no change to the size, the shape or the value of a Cuyahoga Falls or Akron arrangement, and once the arrangement is finished a photo of it goes to the sender at no extra charge.

North of the Summit County line Cuyahoga County, OH takes over, and to the south Stark County, OH begins. Counties beyond Akron and Hudson are gathered at the Ohio delivery index.
