Hocking County, OH Flower Delivery

Sympathy Flowers at Cardaras Funeral Home

Cardaras Funeral Home in Logan sets an hour for deliveries, and a standing spray needs to be in the room before the family rather than after them. That one point of scheduling counts for more than which day gets chosen.

A standing piece needs an easel and clear floor at the front. A low vase arrangement is what somebody carries home afterward, and an order that says which of the two is wanted saves a call back to the sender.

Hocking County has 27.429 people on it, and a service in the seat draws on four small towns rather than on a city. Flowers sent from out of state are ordinary here, which is why the hour of the service is the thing to put in the order.

Picking a Piece for Logan

Hill country changes what travels well. A tall narrow vase rides badly on a road with bends in it and looks wrong in a low farmhouse window, while a compact bowl in a weighted container holds together over the last few miles.

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value of a Hocking County piece. Through a 43138 winter that rule is the difference between a filled order and a refused one.

A photo of the finished arrangement is sent once it has been made, which is how somebody two zones away sees what reached a Hocking County doorstep. The shapes and their sizes are listed under arrangements.

Same Day Orders at Logan

An order for a Hocking County address placed before 1 PM Eastern time is worked the same business day. The hour is fixed where the flowers land, in Logan, OH and the smaller places around it, and not where the order is written.

Flower deliveries to the four Hocking County towns run Monday through Saturday, Sunday delivery is not available, and arrivals fall between 9 AM and 7 PM. On a hollow road at the far end of the county the later half of that window is the realistic one.

Hospital orders go to Hocking Valley Community Hospital in the seat, and Embassy of Logan takes a resident delivery at the front desk. Both want the unit or room number written into the order rather than left to be asked for later.

A Sunday service means a Saturday delivery at the chapel, which is the one piece of scheduling that catches families out in this corner of Ohio. Holidays pull the same day line earlier still, so the week of a major one is not the week to leave an order until lunchtime.

Four Towns in the Hills

Four towns keep listings under this page. Logan is the seat, West Logan sits beside it, Laurelville is at the north west and Hide-A-Way Hills is the fourth, up in the north.

Four codes cover 421 square miles: 43107, 43135, 43138 and 43155. The seat takes 43138 on its own, and the rest are rural enough that a road name in the order is worth more than a house number on a post.

Each town keeps its own listing with its own codes and named places, so a street level question is answered a level below this one. This page is where the county gets chosen and where the ones next to it are picked up.

To the north the line runs into Fairfield County, OH and westward it meets Ross County, OH, and both sit with the rest of Ohio on the Ohio delivery index.
