Harrison County, OH Flower Delivery

A Cadiz Funeral and Standing Pieces

Blackburn Funeral Home in Hopedale sets an hour for deliveries, and a standing spray needs to be in place before the family arrives rather than after. It is the most common timing mistake on a sympathy order and it is the easiest one to avoid.

A standing piece needs an easel and floor space at the front of the room. A low vase arrangement is the one that goes home with somebody afterward and keeps on a kitchen table for a week, so the order should say which of the two is meant.

Harrison County has 14.042 people on it, which makes it one of the quieter places in Ohio this site covers. A service here draws from three towns rather than three suburbs, and senders from out of state are common.

Three Towns and Empty Ridges

Three towns keep listings under this page. Cadiz is the seat, Hopedale sits north of it and Scio is the third, out at the north west. Between them lies 402 square miles of ridge and county road.

Three codes cover the whole of Harrison County: 43907 for the seat, 43976 for Hopedale and 43988 for Scio. On a ridge address the code plus a road name is most of the useful address, and a house number on its own is not much help to anyone.

The town of Harrison, OH keeps a page of its own and is not one of the three towns collected here, so a search that names Harrison alone can land in either place. Guernsey County, OH lies to the south west, and the full state list is on the Ohio delivery index.

Scio and the 1 PM Line

An order for a Harrison County address placed before 1 PM Eastern time is worked the same business day. On ground where the roads bend rather than run, that hour is worth more than any amount of distance planning.

Flower deliveries to the three Harrison County towns run Monday through Saturday, Sunday delivery is not available, and arrivals fall between 9 AM and 7 PM. A Sunday service therefore needs a Saturday delivery at the chapel rather than a morning one on the day itself.

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value of a Harrison County arrangement, and a photo of the finished arrangement follows once it is made. Anything amiss at a Cadiz address has three days from the drop to be raised.

Hilltop Addresses and Long Driveways

A 43907 address off a state route can sit a long way back from the road. A contact number on the order is the difference between a delivery and a card left at the end of a drive, and it costs nothing at all to add.

Harrison Community Hospital in Cadiz takes flowers at a desk and carries them to the ward, so a unit number is worth more than a street line. Carriage Inn of Cadiz and Gables Care Center in Hopedale work the same way with a resident delivery.

An apartment door in the seat needs a buzzer name; a farm gate needs a gate code. Neither is something that can be worked out at the roadside, and both belong in the order rather than in a message sent afterward.

Every shape built for a delivery in this corner of Ohio is listed under arrangements with its size given. Tuscarawas County, OH takes over along the western line, and it sits on the same index as this page does.
