Franklin County, NY Flower Delivery

A sender two time zones away has one real question about an address in Franklin County, and it is what hour the order has to be placed by. The answer is before 1 PM Eastern time, and that holds for a street in Malone as firmly as for one at the far edge of the 1,629 square miles this corner of New York covers.

Four Towns Under Malone

The four town pages under this one are a long drive apart. Saranac Lake sits at the southern end among the high peaks, while Brushton and Akwesasne lie far north near the river. Paul Smiths is a small cluster of addresses off the road that runs between them, and a florist working one end of Franklin County is rarely the one working the other.

Seven ZIP codes cover the whole of it, 12983 in the south and 13655 well to the north. Give the full street line, and for a camp or a seasonal address add whatever landmark the recipient uses. Franklin County has a lot of unnumbered driveways, and a note in the order beats a second attempt.

Sympathy Flowers at Saranac Lake

The one named medical address in the county is Adirondack Medical Center - Saranac Lake, and flowers sent to a patient there need a room or unit on the order line. Sympathy pieces are different: they belong wherever the family has asked people to gather, and for a service the safest instruction is the time the room opens.

A Saturday service is the case that catches people out, because it has to be covered by a Friday or Saturday morning order rather than a Sunday one. Sunday delivery is not available anywhere in Franklin County, and no order placed on a Saturday afternoon can be made to land the next day. Say the day when you book, and work back from it.

The 1 PM Line for Malone

Deliveries run Monday through Saturday and land between 9 AM and 7 PM, a window wide enough that no one should promise a recipient a particular hour. The 1 PM Eastern time line buys the same working day; miss it and the order moves to the next one. On a route that reaches Brushton and the northern NY ZIPs, later in the window is normal.

Around the four big holidays that same hour can move earlier, so a Valentine's or Mother's Day order for one of the seven Franklin County ZIP codes is better placed a day ahead. The whole state list sits at New York county flower delivery, and Clinton County, NY picks up immediately to the east.

Pick a Shape That Travels

Height is the first decision and it is a practical one rather than an aesthetic one. A tall vase piece is wrong for a hospital tray table and right for a hall at a service; a low compact bowl is the reverse. Say where the piece is meant to stand in the note, and a Malone florist has something concrete to work to.

Flower types may be substituted for what a florist in the area has on hand when the road north is snowed over, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement. A photo of the finished piece is sent once it is made, at no extra charge, and for a sender far from Franklin County that photo is the only proof of what arrived. The range is at the full catalog.
