Clovis and the Curry County, NM Run

Clovis Birthdays and Thank You Orders

Most of the 47.156 people in this county live inside 88101, so a birthday order here is usually a Clovis order. That concentration is useful: a florist working one town can put a tall vase on a desk and a low bowl on a kitchen table in the same afternoon without crossing 1.406 square miles to do it. Curry County holds 47.156 people on that small a footprint, which is dense ground by the standard of this part of New Mexico, and it shortens every run.

A thank you sent to a shift worker at Plains Regional Medical Center needs a shape that will not tip on a rolling table, while a congratulations piece for a house in Clovis can be as tall as the room allows.

Three Towns Under Curry

Curry County is the smallest of the eastern counties by land and one of the busiest by population, and three towns hold pages beneath this one. Texico sits right on the eastern state line, Cannon AFB holds 88103 on its own, and Clovis takes 88101 and 88102 between them. Three towns and four postal groups are the whole of it, and each town keeps a page of its own beneath this listing.

Just over that eastern line, Parmer County, TX begins, and the wider index of New Mexico counties is at county flower delivery in NM. A Curry County address is worked the same whether the sender is in NM or three time zones away. New Mexico stretches four hundred miles west of 88135, and none of that ground belongs to this page.

The 1 PM Line for Cannon AFB

Orders placed before 1 PM Mountain time are delivered the same business day, and base addresses are where that hour earns its keep, because a gate and a duty desk sit between the florist and the door. Deliveries run Monday through Saturday, and Sunday delivery is not available at Cannon AFB or anywhere else in this county.

The window is between 9 AM and 7 PM, which is wide on purpose. Nobody can promise a specific hour inside it, though a preference can be requested, and around Valentine's Day and Mother's Day the same-day cutoff can fall earlier than usual. A Curry County order that has to clear a gate and a duty desk is the one worth placing the day before.

Pick a Shape for a Texico Table

Flower types may be substituted for whatever the florist has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value of what was ordered. A photo of the finished piece is sent after it is made, at no extra charge, so a sender who has never seen 88135 still knows what arrived.

The full catalog shows each design at the size it ships in, which is the fastest way to judge whether a piece suits a Texico dining table or a room at Retirement Ranches. Retirement Ranches and St. Anthony Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center both take pieces at a front desk, so a compact shape beats a tall one at either. Anything that looks wrong has three days from delivery to be raised, and a replacement, a refund or a partial credit close it out.
