West Union, WV Flower Delivery in Doddridge County

Sympathy Arrangements for West Union

A funeral in Doddridge County needs a few facts on the order before anything else: the funeral home or church as the obituary names it, the full name of the person who has died, and the day and hour of the service.

The standing spray or wreath is the piece for the service, placed by the casket. A vase design or a plant is the gentler gift for the family's home, where it will stay long after the visitors leave. Those are two orders, each with its own charge.

When the service falls on a Sunday, the flowers must be ordered for the Saturday, since there is no Sunday delivery. Funeral flowers in West Union follow the same timing as any other order, so a weekday order in the morning can still make an evening visitation.

The card can be brief. The family will read it later, so a single line and the names they know you by say enough, and a photo of the finished arrangement is sent to you once it is made, at no extra charge.

Towns Near West Union and Their Florists

West Union is the county seat of Doddridge County, WV, a county of 7,615 people over 320 square miles. The town uses the 26456 ZIP code, and a house anywhere in it is reached with a house number, a road and a phone number for the recipient.

Senders sometimes confuse the towns around here. Pennsboro, WV sits in a different county and has its own page, and Salem, WV and Harrisville, WV have pages of their own too. If you are not sure which town a relative lives in, check the ZIP code on their last letter.

Next door, Harrison County, WV has a page that lists the towns inside it. A family spread between that county and this one can place both orders in one sitting.

A florist near West Union makes each design by hand. People who search for a flower shop in West Union find no storefront here, only an order placed online and made close to the recipient, which is what a florist in West Union would do anyway.

For a family that has asked for donations instead of flowers, a small plant sent to the house a little later is a quiet way to be present.

Birthday and Anniversary Flowers in West Union

A birthday in West Union is well served by a bright mixed vase that needs nothing but a spot on the counter. For an anniversary, roses or the color the couple chose at their wedding carry the message.

A new baby calls for something light, a get well message for something compact enough for a nightstand, and a graduation for something cheerful for the party table. All of them can be picked from the catalog.

Order flowers a day ahead when the date is fixed; the extra day leaves time to correct a mistake in the address. Flowers delivered on the day itself do more than a card that arrives late.

A thank you for a neighbor, a coach or a teacher can be small. A plant in a basket lasts for months, and it asks nothing of a busy household. Retirement from a job in the county, a new house or a wedding shower are all good reasons to have flowers taken to the door.

Substituted Flowers, Same Design

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement. The utmost care is taken to keep the piece close to the design you picked.

What does not change is the part you chose on purpose: the container, the size and the overall shape. A color named in the notes is a clearer guide than the name of a single flower. A basket design stays a basket and a vase design stays in its vase; the change, when there is one, is in the stems themselves.

If something about a 26456 delivery looks wrong, report it within three days, because cut flowers do not keep. The response may be a replacement, a refund or a partial credit, depending on the problem.
